The WWE website is having an issue where everyone is trying to sign up at once, causing their processing for the sign-ups and the credit card processing to be slowed and to not go through, similar to when Ticketmaster.com locks up during a big ticket on sale.
In my case, I had to refresh the site several times and it took almost 35 minutes to sign up, put in my payment information and then, I didn't even know my CC was processed until I received an email 18 minutes later. Once I received the email, I was able to log in via my Roku. That said, we are hearing different levels of ease in terms of using the website.
I am also hearing that if you are trying to sign up via other devices, it's not working as well as WWE.com, so my advice is to go there and then if and when you sign up, synch the devices later.
I expect that once WWE gets everything going, it will run smoothly, but the sheer amount of people racing to get on at once is causing the issues. That's annoying to be sure, but probably not anything WWE could truly prepare for - it's a first of it's kind offering.
My advice is to be patient and wait it out or try again in a few hours, but no, it's not you. It' the system being overwhelmed.
