ROH SHOW ANNIVERSARY NOTES

By Mike Johnson on 2014-02-22 13:11:28
Ring of Honor had a strong 12th Anniversary Show last night in Philadelphia, PA at the National Guard Armory. It was a really strong show with some excellent wrestling. I would suggest getting the VOD when you can.

Cliff Compton had his bell rung during his Street Fight against Kevin Steen when. He was OK after the match but was hurting.

There were no other major injuries that I am aware of.

Bobby Cruise missed the show due to the flight issues in the Northeast. Scarlett Bordeauxx did a very good job in filling in.

After the show, ROH had a cake to celebrate the company's 12th anniversary, something Joe Koff had arranged. Hunter Johnson gave a short speech thanking everyone for their hard work on the show and for all they are doing for the company. He then singled out Joe Koff and Cary Silkin for their roles in keeping the company alive.

Tiger Hatori was visiting at the show last night.

Noticeable by his absence was Prince Nana, which was really surprising since other than the Briscoes and Steve Corino (as announcer), he was only member of the roster who was on the first show that is still with the company. When I asked after the show, I was told it appeared he just wasn't booked.
