There was talk going around at the weekend house shows that CM Punk was given his official release from WWE on Friday. We have not been able to confirm that and Punk is still shown on the Superstars page of WWE website. We did hear from a few people that spoke to him recently and he is telling them that he is "done".

Of course, the Network debuts one week from today. I am really excited for it to begin.
NBC Universal's exclusive negotiating period with WWE ended last week and no word has come out as to the status of WWE's TV deal. We should find out more about the status of their TV deal on Thursday, when WWE presents its fourth quarter and yearly results conference call. Now that should be interesting.

Alan sent this item in regards to the Dish-Elimination Chamber story. "I am a Dish employee, currently working in customer service. I can confirm that Dish has no intention of removing WWE PPVs, and it is merely a case of technical difficulties on the mydish.com website. We are aware of the issue, and our engineering dept. is working to rectify the problem."
So keep watching as the week goes on Dish users. If it doesn't come back online for you to order, it would seem that The Network is the reason.
