DIVA LAUDED FOR HER TOUGHNESS, WWE ANNOUNCER NOMINATED FOR EMMY AWARD, FORMER WWE TAG CHAMP TEASES RETIREMENT AND MORE

WWE announcer Scott Stanford announced yesterday that he has been nominated for a Best Sports Anchor Emmy Award for his work on WNBC channel 4 in New York City. Stanford has since moved on and works for Tribune Broadcasting's WPIX channel 11 in NYC as well as his WWE duties.

A lot of people backstage were praising Naomi for her toughness in finishing the match with Aksana on Monday.

Mike Mondo, who held the WWE Tag Team championship as part of the Spirit Squad, teased retirement on his Facebook, writing, "My run as far as being a pro wrestler may sadly becoming to an end. Time to really start thinking outside the box to secure my future. Have a couple idea's and gonna start acting on them promptly to see where it goes. Whether I go or stay wrestling will ALWAYS go on and NEVER feel bad for me leaving it. Regardless on the decision I make, I will ALWAYS be grateful and thankful for each and every one of my fans love and support." Mondo had been working for Ring of Honor and had been training and wrestling for Long Island's NYWC as of late. He's scheduled to work their 2/15 Psycho Circus event.

Evan Bourne was at the Performance Center yesterday.

The Rock has been filming his TNT reality show "Wake Up Call" over the past week. The eight episode series is slated to debut later this year.
