If nothing happens between now and 2/12 with the CM Punk leaving WWE situation, it will get very interesting as Punk is scheduled to appear on the Comedy Central show "@Midnight". Given the amount of publicity that his leaving the company has gotten, it's pretty hard to believe he could do that show and not have the topic come up. After that, WWE has Raw in Chicago on 3/3. If he is not there, I expect that crowd to go crazy. WWE is obviously aware of that date. WWE is still holding out hope that they can convince Punk to come back. It's up to Vince McMahon at this point.
In a sign that WWE isn't admitting anything yet, WWE.com has Punk listed at number 9 in their 2/1/14 Power Rankings. ... Thanks to Brian Molesky for sending that along.
