Triple H did his usual Wednesday interview on the WWE website, although this time Renee Young conducted the interview as Michael Cole wasn't at Smackdown on Tuesday, where they usually film the segments. Nothing really newsworthy, even from a storyline standpoint, beyond a strong tease that Batista could be the "face" of the company going forward.

Batista, meanwhile, commented on his return to the company on Twitter, writing, "Just wanted to thank everyone who supported my return. I missed you guys!! All you other negative Smarks can suck my b***s! Haha!!! #onelife"

As we noted last week, WWE was filming additional material for Legends House in Orlando, FL (where the "House" is located). The cast also paid a visit to the Performance Center while they were in town.

Due to the Legends House filming, Roddy Piper has to drop out of a feature film titled "Baker's Dozen" that was set for the same filming period. He suggested Tommy Dreamer to replace him. Jake Roberts and Diamond Dallas Page also have roles in the film, with all three wrestlers filming over the last few days in Ventura, CA.

The WWE Raw 20th Anniversary box set has completed it's print run. Whatever is out there on the retail market is what's left out there.

WWE will be releasing a unique DVD and Blu-Ray titled "Best of Raw After the Show" on 4/22. The promotional material for the release reads, "For 52 weeks a year, the WWE Universe is glued to their seats for 3 hours of pulse pounding action on Monday Night Raw. But what happens after the cameras stop rolling? Now, in this new DVD/Blu-ray set, The Best of Raw: After the Show, fans get a unique perspective of WWE's flagship show, with never-before seen footage of Raw's aftermath. Traditionally, Raw has continued on into the night purely for the enjoyment of the live audience. Now, no one is left in the dark as all the top Superstars in Raw history are presented in rare form. Get a heavy dose of WWE's most colorful Superstars- The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, DX, John Cena and more, showing off their larger than life personalities, often times shedding their on-camera personas for the sake of pure fun. From Austin beer bashes, birthday celebrations, humorous improv, crowd interaction, and dark matches sure to please the hardcore fan, these are the moments that can only happen in WWE."

The local ABC affiliate in Maryland featured a piece on former WWE Diva Mickie James returning to the area to work for Maryland Championship Wrestling, one of the first promotions she regularly worked for on the independent scene at this link. It's a very good piece. James will be working for MCW on 2/8.

National Public Radio covered the passing of Mae Young at this link.

WWE.com has a "Where Are They Now" piece on Gene Snitsky.

Former WWE Diva Stacy Keibler is featured in a commercial for VH-1's Super Bowl Blitz, which is running every 30 seconds on that network it seems.
