TNA LOCKDOWN ON SALE THIS WEEK, TNA RUMORS SHOT DOWN, JARRETT UPDATE, THE WOLVES AND MORE

Tickets for the 3/9 TNA Lockdown PPV in Miami, Florida will go on sale this Friday. There will be a Fan Interaction the day before.

Reports that Tommy Dreamer has signed with TNA as a "senior agent" are at best premature, according to TNA sources. We are told the two sides haven't even discussed that position as of this writing, although Dreamer was there and helping out last Thursday at the request of John Gaburick. Dreamer is currently in Los Angeles filming a movie, so reports he was in Nashville at the TNA offices yesterday are blatantly false.

During last week's talent meeting, the departure of Jeff Jarrett came up with Dixie Carter telling talents that the company "wished him well." There are a lot of rumors about Jarrett's potential new project. We are told there's no timetable in place in regard to an official announcement or debut. Jarrett has been meeting with a lot of different potential partners and is said to have been "blown away" by how many people are interested in getting on board with the potential start-up. There's rumors of Toby Keith and Hermie and Elliot Sadler being involved but until something is officially announced, remember that a lot of rumors go nowhere for a reason.

In regard to rumors that writer Dave Lagana reached out to leave for ROH or WWE, a Ring of Honor source noted that the door has "always been open" for Lagana to return to the company as he was "well liked by Joe Koff" but that there has been no communication between the two sides. Lagana wrote on his Twitter that he wasn't "going anywhere" in regard to the rumors. He recently purchased a home in Nashville, which pretty much means he's got roots in the city now.

The Wolves, formerly the American Wolves, have signed with the company. In regard to their WWE tryout, TNA sources were throwing out stories that the Wolves turned down a "longer tryout" with NXT to instead sign with TNA. As I've noted before in PWInsider's Elite section, WWE sources indicated that Triple H dropped interest in the team after their NXT TV bout against the Ascension following a spot where Richards crashed down on the top of his head following a miscue.

No live events this week. TNA kicks off their European tour on 1/29.
