WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: TAG CHAMPS IN ACTION; DEL RIO ADDRESSES THE ANIMAL; KAITLYN'S SWAN SONG

We are in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and your announcers are Tom ‘Jim’s’ Phillips and The Miz.

Match Number One: Xavier Woods and R Truth (with Cameron and Naomi) versus Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger (with Zeb Colter)

Swagger and Truth start things off and they lock up. Truth with a side head lock and Swagger with a waist lock and take down. Truth with a hammer lock and side head lock. Swagger with a shoulder tackle. Truth does some dancing and he does a split and he punches Swagger. Woods tags in and he hits a drop kick on Swagger. Woods with a near fall. Woods with an arm bar.

Cesaro tags in and he sends Woods into the turnbuckles. Cesaro with an Irish whip and Woods floats over and then he hits a cross body for a near fall. Truth tags in and they hit a double back elbow and Truth gets a near fall. Truth with a wrist lock and Woods tags back in and he hits a double sledge from the turnbuckles.

Cesaro with a knee and slam. Swagger tags in and he hits a leaping leg drop for a near fall. Swagger with an arm bar. Swagger tries for a belly-to-back suplex but Woods lands on his feet and he tags in Truth. Truth with clotheslines but Truth with a victory roll for a near fall. Truth with a head scissors that sends Swagger to the floor.

Truth goes to the floor and Cesaro tries for a clothesline but Truth punches Cesaro. Swagger goes for Truth’s knee and we go to commercial.

We are back and Truth has his knee driven into the mat by Swagger and Cesaro. Truth with punches but Cesaro keeps Truth from making the tag and he runs Truth into the turnbuckles. Swagger tags in and he gets between Truth and his corner. Swagger with the double jump Swagger bomb followed by a leap frog double stomp from Cesaro and Antonio gets a near fall.

Cesaro with a head butt to the midsection and then he hits the dead lift side salto and gets a near fall. Cesaro with a reverse chin lock. Truth with punches and he tries for a sunset flip but Swagger makes the tag before Cesaro goes over and Swagger with kicks to Truth. Swagger rolls Truth into his corner and he tells Truth that this is their ring.

Swagger with a front face lock. Truth tries to get to his corner but Swagger does his best to stand his ground. Truth with a leg lariat and both men are down. Cesaro tags in and so does Woods. Woods with a springboard drop kick followed by a running forearm and a back heel kick. Woods with a drop kick and boot to the head for a near fall.

Woods with an inside cradle for a near fall. Truth sends Swagger over the top rope to the floor but Cesaro sends Truth over the top rope. Woods hits the Honor Roll and Fandango comes out and he dances with Summer Rae.

Cesaro with Swiss Death for the three count.

Winners: Antonio Cesaro and Jack Swagger

We go the weekly Triple H interview and this week he is asked about the CES appearance. Michael mentions that this is where cutting edge technology is debuted. What is being debuted. Hunter says CES would be fitting for someone like Vince McMahon, a man who pioneered the syndicated television industry, closed circuit television industry, and pay per view industry. This is the perfect place for Vince McMahon to change the world.

Alberto Del Rio makes his way to the ring and we go to commercial.

We are back and we are now less than 2 weeks away from the return of Batista.

Match Number Two: Alberto Del Rio versus Justin Gabriel

Del Rio with a forearm and kicks to Gabriel. Del Rio with an Irish whip and kick in the corner. Del Rio chokes Gabriel in the corner. Del Rio with an Irish whip and Gabriel with a head scissors that sends Del Rio to the floor and Gabriel follows with a corkscrew pescado. Gabriel sends Del Rio back into the ring and he goes up top but Del Rio with a step up enzuigiri for a near fall.

Del Rio with a reverse chin lock. Gabriel with punches to get out of the chin lock but Del Rio with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker for a near fall. Del Rio with punches to the head. Del Rio with a suplex and he floats over to get a near fall. Del Rio with a reverse chin lock. Gabriel with a forearm but Del Rio with a head butt.

Del Rio charges into the corner but Gabriel moves and Gabriel with a series of kicks to Del Rio. Gabriel with a spinning back heel kick and then he hits a cross body into the corner and goes to the apron for a springboard cross body and Gabriel gets a near fall.

Gabriel misses a splash into the corner and he gets caught in the ropes. Del Rio with a double stomp and then he waits for Gabriel to get up for the super kick and Del Rio gets the three count.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

After the match, Del Rio wants to know what is wrong with everyone. Everyone should be on their feet celebrating his victory. He calls everyone stupid. Every time Batista is on the Tron, you jump up and down and scream like little girls. It is just disgusting. He says that it is okay because at the end of the day, everyone is just like Batista . . . a bunch of filthy animals.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Renee Young stops Fandango and Summer Rae in the back for some comments. Fandango tells Isabella that Xavier Woods started this with the Funkadoodles on Smackdown. Tonight, he showed Xavier that he has something up his sleeve.

Renee reminds Fandango that he is not wearing any sleeves. Fandango says that Renee is not even a real journalism.

Summer tells Renee that he is taken.

It is time to take a look back at Old School Raw.

Match Number Three: Cody Rhodes and Goldust versus Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre (with Heath Slater) in a Non Title Match

Drew and Goldust start things off and they lock up. Goldust with an arm drag and he gasps in Drew’s face. Goldust with a reverse atomic drop and punch. Jinder tags in and Goldust with a hip toss and arm drag into an arm bar. Jinder gets into the ropes and Goldust breaks the hold. Jinder with a kick and he sends Goldust into the turnbuckles. Drew tags in and kicks Goldust.

Jinder tags back in and he hits a neck breaker for a near fall. Jinder with a reverse chin lock on Goldust. Goldust with punches but Jinder with a knee. Jinder with a leaping knee for a near fall. Jinder with a front face lock and Jinder with a punch followed by a kick to the head from Drew and a boot to the head.

Drew chokes Goldust in the ropes and the referee warns him. Goldust with punches but Drew with a flying boot for a near fall. Jinder tags in and he kicks Goldust and drops a knee to get a near fall. Drew tags back in and he kicks Goldust in the ribs. Drew pie faces Goldust but Goldust with punches. Drew with a kick.

Drew with an Irish whip but Goldust with a back elbow out of the corner. Jinder tags back in and Goldust with a drop down uppercut and a power slam. Both men are down and Cody tags in and he hits a clothesline or two. Cody with a float over into a sunset flip for a near fall.

Cody with a kick and drop down uppercut. Cody with a kick to the midsection followed by an Alabama Slam. Cody clotheslines Drew over the top rope to the floor. Cody with Beautiful Disaster for the three count.

Winners: Cody Rhodes and Goldust

We go to commercial.

Match Number Four: Kaitlyn versus AJ Lee (with Tamina Snuka)

AJ offers her hand and Kaitlyn shakes it. They lock up and AJ with a side head lock. Kaitlyn with a shoulder tackle. Kaitlyn with a side head lock and AJ pulls Kaitlyn down by the hair. AJ offers her hand to Kaitlyn again. AJ with a kick to the knee and AJ goes to the floor to avoid Kaitlyn. AJ runs around the ring and Tamina gets in Kaitlyn’s way.

AJ with another kick to the leg and a side head lock. Kaitlyn with a drop kick followed by a hard Irish whip. Kaitlyn with shoulders in the corner. Kaitlyn with an Irish whip and short arm clothesline for a near fall. Tamina gets on the apron when Kaitlyn tries for a power slam. AJ escapes and kicks Kaitlyn and hits a drop kick for a near fall.

AJ skips around Kaitlyn and applies a sleeper. AJ adds a body scissors but Kaitlyn gets to her feet but AJ holds on to the sleeper. Kaitlyn with elbows but AJ with a back elbow and she gets a near fall. AJ returns to the sleeper and she adds more pressure by getting on Kaitlyn’s back again.

Kaitlyn backs AJ into the corner to get out of the hold. AJ kicks Kaitlyn in the back. AJ with a back heel kick but Kaitlyn with a back breaker and she connects with a back elbow and clothesline. Kaitlyn with a flying shoulder tackle for a near fall. AJ with a kick but Kaitlyn with a gutbuster from the shoulders for a near fall.

AJ with a guillotine choke and Kaitlyn starts to fall to the mat but Kaitlyn is able to run AJ into the turnbuckles. AJ goes to the turnbuckles for a cross body but Kaitlyn catches her but AJ counters with an inside cradle for the three count.

Winner: AJ Lee

After the match, AJ skips around Kaitlyn. AJ hugs Kaitlyn and Kaitlyn hugs back. Kaitlyn starts to walk out of the ring and Tamina with a super kick. AJ blows a kiss to Kaitlyn before leaving the ring.
