WHY YOU SHOULDN'T EXPECT TO SEE SHAWN MICHAELS TONIGHT, JACKSON UPDATE, NXT, JIM ROSS AND MORE WWE NEWS

Shawn Michaels is scheduled to appear at the Archery Trade Association event in Nashville, Tennessee this week, including today, so unless WWE intends to charter a flight for Michaels to go back and forth, don't expect him on tonight's Old School Raw broadcast. WWE will be releasing a Michaels DVD titled "Mr. Wrestlemania" on 2/11.

WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross Jim Ross did some commentary on last night's Boston Celtics vs. Oklahoma City Thunder NBA game. Ross' first one man show in the United States is slated for 3/1 at the Gramercy Theater in NYC. For more details, click here.

Ezekiel Jackson noted online that he's sore but feeling OK following a double hernia surgery, the latest setback for the former ECW champion when it comes to returning to the WWE roster.

Larry Huber sent word that a number of WWE Studios films, including No Hold Barred, are now available to stream if you are a Hulu Plus subscriber.

Seth Rollins was interviewed by Philly.com to promote tomorrow's Smackdown taping in the city of Brotherly Love. In regard to the Shield's run so far with the company, Rollins said, "Justice has always been our big thing. Preaching justice and injustice and trying to right the wrongs and stuff like that. I think that’s kind of been a metaphor for just changing things up in the wrestling business. We were tired of seeing the same things over and over. The three of us, we were tired of seeing the way guys were conducting themselves on a weekly basis, just kind of going through the motions. We didn’t want to be apart of that. That was an injustice to us just seeing the guys who were not as good as we were getting opportunities that we weren’t getting. We kind of injected ourselves and for the past year and few months we’ve been the most dominant faction and arguably the top act. To say that in only our first year is pretty humbling as well and I think there’s a lot more to come for the three of us.”

WWE NXT will hold their first TV Taping of the year this Thursday 1/9/14 at Full Sail Live in Winter Park, Florida with the Wyatt Family and The Miz set to appear.
