Do you think it's time WWE rebrand it's October event from the Hell in a Cell to the more marketable Halloween Havoc and December showcase as Starrcade since the PG ratings really hinder these events front previous years.

I think it makes sense to kill the HIAC PPV because it often feels contrived. The Cell should be used when it's needed, not on a schedule. But bringing back old WCW names from over a decade ago? I don't see that meaning anything.

What has happened to WWE Diva Layla? She's not been seen since her sudden heel turn against Kaitlyn over six months ago.

She is dealing with personal issues.

First off Happy New Year to the entire PWInsider family. My question is I've been watching some of the original ECW footage on YouTube and I've seen many interviews by Shane Douglas and what appears to be actual hatred from him towards both Ric Flair and Shawn Michaels. My question is what was/is the reason for this? Did both guys use politics to kill Douglas when Shane was in WWF/WCW?

It was pretty legitimate. I also think there was an element of knowing it would get heat, which it did.

It’s that time where everyone looks at the main roster and beyond to see who could “break” the Undertaker’s streak. Isn’t it very safe to say that isn’t an option at this point? Shouldn’t the real question that can happen in our lifetimes be “Can anyone TOP the Undertaker’s streak”? Obviously that person would have to be young, a franchise player out of the gates, and work the next 25 or so Mania’s to eclipse the streak. Would such an idea be feasible, or would the novelty be ruined quickly once everyone catches on to what’s happening. All the hype has been around Reigns lately and though he could do it (1-0 currently), he’d have to wrestle into his early 50s just to catch Taker, let alone top the streak as he’s in his late 20s. Therefore, if anyone could do it and WWE was up for the concept, would WWE would have to find the candidate even younger than they did Reigns?

That is an interesting question. Personally, I wouldn't do it while Taker is active but if WWE planned ahead, they could have a guy, like Reigns, start winning now and just not bring attention to it. I like the idea. Records are meant to be broken and WWE can book things however they want. As the guy got closer to Taker's number, it could become part of his booking every year. I like it.

I was reading the transcript of Edge on Jericho's podcast. He mentioned in 2010 that Cena basically went to upper management and put the kibosh on the Nexus angle when Edge, Christian and most of the writers wanted The Nexus to go over to build up the next big thing. Is this true, and is Cena this political backstage?

He can be. He can if he wants to do so. The power comes with the position. Overall, he isn't one that often abuses it though.
