LOTS OF WWE NEWS AND NOTES, INCLUDING THE SURVIVOR SERIES BUYRATES

According to WWE's corporate website, the early Survivor Series buyrate is around 200,000 buys, down from 2011 and 2012. For the quarter thus far, their PPVs are averaging 171,000 buys, with 101,000 coming from the US and the other 70,000 coming from overseas.

After WWE tapes the 12/27 edition of Smackdown in Corpus Christi, TX they are off for the next six days. They hit the road for the Holiday tour on 12/26. TNA is also off so it will be a quiet next week or so in the wrestling business, barring an unforeseen story breaking. NXT has its last show in Tampa, FL tonight. It's the end of an ERA.
