For the eighth year in a row, USA was the most watched cable network in prime time, which is very important to them from a corporate standpoint due to, among other things, advertising rates.  Obviously Raw is a huge part of that and why, as negotiations continue for a new TV rights deals for Raw and Smackdown, WWE remains an integral part of USA's strategy.  WWE is very much aware of USA's desire to remain at the top and it's playing into their negotiations with parent company NBC Universal.  Without Raw's Monday numbers, USA is not number one.

In his latest sit down interview with Michael Cole on the WWE website, Triple H guaranteed that there will be a winner in Sunday's World and WWE Title unification match.  It will be interesting to see what happens because they have now said a few times that there will be a winner.  If they don't deliver, they can't use the stance of not promising winners on PPV that they have in the past when fans were angry at the end of shows.  HHH also said he wasn't surprised that Daniel Bryan got a great response on the show.  He said Bryan is a great asset, but not best for business.  You can watch the interview by clicking here.

He is an incredibly nice guy. There is FINALLY an article on this--- in a free weekly alternative newspaper. How about publishing the link. It has a classic photo.  You can check it out by clicking here.
