Is the WWE creative team actually creative? By that I mean if Vince did not have the final say would the creative team actually be creative?

It is really hard for anyone to show what they have to offer when Vince sets the direction the way that he does. He stiffles most of the creativity that they have.

Do you think that what happened to Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis, is what is happening to Vince McMahon? Al Davis was a Football visionary. He lead the AFL and then the NFL to new heights. But as he got older he lost touch with the ever changing NFL. Started making horrible decision, and made the Raiders the laughing stock of the league. Unfortunately those around him saw what was happening but didn't have the guts to step up to Al and say the NFL has passed him by. I see many parallels to this story, in the way the WWE is playing out as of late. Your thoughts.

I have made that comparison on audio many times. He is very similar to Al Davis and getting more like him every day. I believe he has lost touch with much of what wrestling fans want and his creative end is just not what it used to be. He is just lucky that he is not competing with anyone. If this were the mid 90s and WCW was doing what they did then, WWE would be in trouble just like they were then.

I was watching Vintage Collection and noticed how excited the crowd was for Goldberg (energetic). I was wondering what WWE has to do to get the same reaction from the crowd on Raw and Smackdown?

All they have to do is book guys well and give the fans a good product to watch. It really is that simple. The people are there to have fun and react. WWE should let them do that.

Do you think WWE is taking into consideration the terms Davey Richards and ROH had parted? When the average person is looking for a job, most employers would take notice of how someone left their previous company. WWE's corporate structure seems so strict lately in their hiring and development processes. I wonder if Richards has hurt his chances. Someone in the office could notice the heat from ROH and have concerns how he'd conduct himself in WWE. Or do you see WWE ignoring the situation and giving Richards a clean slate?

WWE absolutely will take everything under consideration but also, if they sign him, will give him the chance to show what he can do.

Do you guys think it's hypocritical of WWE to simultaneously tell its talent that they don't want guys who are just happy to be on TV and that they ought to be aspirational (as Steve Austin said in his sit-down exchange with Jim Ross and CM Punk last year), and yet at the same time punish them when they try and get over on their own? It seems rather bizarre to me that they celebrate people like Austin and Rock who got over despite what creative had for them, and yet depush guys like Zack Ryder who attempted to do the same.

Absolutely. It's ridiculous quite frankly. WWE wants guys to get over......if it's doing what creative has written for them.
