Who decides on who gets to be on the cover of a WWE Video Game? Is this a WWE decision, a 2K decision or a jointly made decision?
It's a decision made by 2K Sports with WWE's input as they get to approve anything regarding their licenses.
After pushes for Bryan, Sandow, Ziggler and Rybackin the past year, as well as solidifying Punk as a main guy, I was really expecting WMXXX to be a PPV which helped create stars. But it is looking like it may be the other way round. I know its early but I expect Orton vs Cena and Lesnar vs Taker. Do you think this is the right route to take? Or should the younger guys/non-solidified main eventers get pushes like we saw Benoit/Guerrero receive at WMXX? I personally want Bryan to win the RR, and face Orton and Cena in a triple threat. I would also quite like to see a younger guy such as Rhodes, Sandow or Barrett retire an older star such as Kane or HHH. None of this will happen though.
I have been writing for as long as this website has existed that WWE needed to prepare for the future and every year, it's getting closer and closer to being too late. I understand that the company feels the older names help sell Wrestlemania and I will never deny that but I truly feel they need to use the attention the older names and the Wrestlemania brand name receives to help get their current, full-time stars in front of the media and the average fans, so they mean more in the long term. There's no reason Sheamus or Daniel Bryan can't be front and center as much as Brock Lesnar and the Undertaker in my mind. One day, you won't have the latter two and will need to rely on the former - so prepare for that now, not when you need to react to the loss of veterans.
What is the current mood with the wrestlers/Knockouts now that both Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff are no longer with TNA? It was once reported to be in a state of disarray at one time.
All signs are that the backstage atmosphere has been better since the company informed talent of the #365 initiative and the move back to Orlando, Florida. Hogan was liked personally by the wrestlers but most realized it was simply not working.
With Summer Rae having appeared on Raw three times will this lead to the other female stars of NXT being on both Raw and Smackdown? Stars such as NXT ladies champion Paige along with Bailey, Sasha Banks, Emma and Charlotte.
Summer Rae is on the main roster. They are not. Whether they make it to the main roster or not, we will have to see.
To your knowledge will the One Night Only pay per view featuring the Knockouts be out on DVD either this year or in 2014?
The DVD will be released in 2014.
Seems like WWE is trying to build back the importance of IC Title in recent weeks. With Curtis Axel having a long run and stating how important the title is to him, and now with a future (one can hope) main player in Big E Langston capturing the title- it seems like this belt may return to its place as the stepping stone for up and comers. I assume this can be attributed to the unifying of the top titles. That being said, any word on the state of the US title? Will it be phased out as well?
The current edict is to strengthen the Intercontinental championship now that they have put some emphasis back on the Tag straps and the top titles will be unified. The United States title, as of right now, is scheduled to stay put.
