DAVEY RICHARDS TO EVOLVE?

With Davey Richards and Ring of Honor having parted ways after the promotion removed him from their 12/14 Final Battle event following unhappiness with his alleged conduct, a number of independent promoters have been scrambling to book Richards in what they assume will be some of his final independent appearances - since a potential WWE deal is possible.

EVOLVE/DGUSA head Gabe Sapolsky took to his Facebook Page and asked whether he should "call" Richards. Within minutes, Richards responded, writing, "Yes." Obviously, there's a tease Richards is coming into EVOLVE.

The interplay between the two is pretty notable since there was something of a fallout when Richards pulled out of working for EVOLVE when he signed a Ring of Honor deal, which Sapolsky was quite upset about, since the plan was to build the promotion around Richards and make him a partner in the company.

So, fast forward a few years and now Richards, done with ROH, could end up working for EVOLVE, which has some January dates in Florida.
