HOGAN AT MANIA, WILL TLC DELIVER WHAT IT IS PROMISING AND MORE

HI, love the site and the real news on it; my question is about Hogan, I've seen lots of theory about what role should he have at Mania (if he's featured): since it's WM 30, why not have a Battle Royale like the WM 17 one, with old and more recent guys (like Saturn, Road Dogg, Sid, Vader, Kidman and some old Hogan foes) and have Hogan as the last entrant with main focus? He could do his spots, win the match, not do much and we have a cool nostalgia act. What do you think about that?

I wouldn't mind if they did that, kind of like old timers day. My only concern with Hogan at Mania is using an old guy at the expense of good, well pushed young guys. That would be a mistake and do damage to whoever they had take his leg drop. Hogan at 50 is one thing. Hogan at 60 is another altogether.

Noticed a lot of Hogan - WM30 idea Q&A's lately. How would you feel about Hogan teaming with Big Show, and going against the Shield or Wyatts? Show has history with Hogan, and could work the majority of the match, save for the hot tag and Hulk up. Hulk/Show could even put over their opponents and still have a great WM30 mania moment with Show raising Hogan's hand at the end to a standing ovation/pose down - even have the roster who arent on the card stand on stage applauding him?

See the above, I don't want Hogan, even in a tag match, hurting a good young act (one that will be expected to be a part of the company after this match) to look weak to a grandpa. I get that Hogan is who he is and all, but for years now WWE Creative has been making young guys look bad and then they are shocked when the crowd won't take the young guys seriously later on. Hogan should be used as an attraction, not at the expense of young talent.

So, at TLC there will be two titles floating above the ring. Something nagging tells me that there won’t be a unification (at least for a couple more months), and that we end up with some corny finish where they each grab their respective belts OR in an even more WTF moment they end up swapping titles and adding to their ever growing world championship counts that are already too high. Thoughts on the matter?

That wouldn't shock me at all. The only thing I am expecting, 100%, from TLC is a screwy finish. If they actually unite the two titles on a throwaway PPV, right before their biggest part of the year starts, it would be shocking, not to mention insane and bad for business.

With Hulk Hogan's capacity at Wrestlemania being the trend in questions these days, I've my own spice to throw in the mix. Let's blend Hogan into the fore casted power struggle. Team HHH- Triple H and Kane Vs.Team Vince Undertaker and Hulk Hogan. Look at the various angles to sell this match. There is the power struggle, which I think Vince should win because as it is he is the one who is going to be running things around for until death. Then there is Undertaker's streak. There is the personal fold of Kane and Undertaker with one brother choosing the wrong approach. And enfin, it is two major foes uniting for what is right. This divides the physicality between Hogan and Undertaker which both of them need at different levels. Your thoughts

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! Like I said above, I don't want Hogan, at 60 years old, to be a focal point of WrestleMania. The dude is OLD!

Any chance we'll see Ken Shamrock enter the WWE Hall of Fame? He has been IC Champion, King of the Ring, TNA's 1st Champion & UFC Hall of Fame. I got think that he is a big part of the reason a lot of wrestling fans decided to check out UFC. Before he crossed over to WWE, UFC's audience was smaller than WWE's.

Maybe be down the road, as they run out of guys. Honestly, his work in wrestling was just OK. If he gets in, it more for what he did after leaving wrestling than what he did in it.
