It's possible that could be where they are going, but right now, all the storyline development we know is that Bryan was found disoriented in a parking lot somewhere.
Will TNA be bringing back GutChek anytime soon? There was talk of them doing that or already doing so some months ago.
I am told that concept as a TV segment is on the shelf indefinitely. It was designed as something of a pilot concept with the idea of spinning the reality-based segment off into its own show, but that's not going to happen right now.
With Knockout champion Gail Kim taking on challengers from outside the company any chance of whoever they bring in such as Candice Lae Rae being signed to a TNA contract?
Yes, the idea here is to create new potential stars.
I don't know if you noticed but during the last couple of episodes of Raw, Michael Cole has suddenly started to refer to the I/C title as 'The prestigious Intercontinental Title'. With the main titles due to be unified at the TLC pay per view, do you think this is a hint that we're soon going to see a big push to try restore the I/C belt to something approaching the status it had back when it was held by the likes of Randy Savage, Mr Perfect, Bret Hart and Shawn Michaels? I'm wondering if the thinking may be that having a strong but clearly secondary title, as used to be the case, will prove to be a better way of elevating mid-card talents into the main event picture than having two main titles.
It could be. That would make sense, since the belt used to be about setting up future players or showcasing the best "workers in the ring" in the company. Let's hope you are onto something here.
I have a small question for your PWInsider.com Q-and-A column. 3PW ran pretty impressive wrestling shows in the early 2000’s, until to 2005. They relied on ECW alumni and a few other veterans. They taped most of their big shows and released them on VHS and DVD. Nowadays, the promotion is completely inactive. Would WWE be interested in purchasing their video library? What might happen to their tape library other than not used at all?
WWE could purchase it, but I am told that Jasmin St. Claire sold the rights years ago to Steve Karel, so WWE would have to acquire them from Karel.
