WWE MAIN EVENT REPORT: DEL RIO/ZIGGLER; KOFI/FANDANGO; TRIPLE H CLARIFIES THE TLC MATCH AT TLC; AND MORE

We are in Uncasville, Connecticut and your announcers are Josh ‘Irony of the location of tonight’s show’ Mathews and Alex ‘Happy Hanukkah’ Riley.

Match Number One: Dolph Ziggler versus Alberto Del Rio

They take some time before locking up as Ziggler plays to the crowd. The crowd starts to chant USA and Del Rio with a kick and side head lock. Del Rio holds on to the side head lock when Ziggler tries to send Del Rio off the ropes. Del Rio with a shoulder tackle followed by a kick. Del Rio with a snap mare and kick to the back for a near fall.

Del Rio with a side head lock. Ziggler with a punch followed by a drop kick. Ziggler with kicks in the corner followed by a snap mare. Ziggler with a series of elbow drops that he culminates with a delayed leaping elbow drop. Ziggler gets a near fall. Ziggler with a punch in the corner but he misses a splash when Del Rio moves. Del Rio with a kick to the head and he kicks Ziggler in the head.

Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio with a suplex and he floats over to get a near fall. Del Rio with a reverse chin lock. Ziggler with punches but Del Rio with head butts to Ziggler. Ziggler moves out of the way when Del Rio goes for a splash in the ropes. Del Rio goes to the apron and Ziggler with a drop kick that sends Del Rio to the floor.

Ziggler follows Del Rio to the floor and Del Rio Irish whips Ziggler shoulder first into the ringside barrier and we go to commercial.

We are back and Del Rio with a double sledge from the turnbuckles and Del Rio gets a near fall. Del Rio with a reverse chin lock. Ziggler with a punch but Del Rio with an Irish whip. Del Rio runs into an uppercut but Del Rio sends Ziggler into the air and Ziggler lands chest first on the mat. Del Rio mocks Ziggler and he kicks Dolph in the head.

Del Rio goes up top for another double sledge. Del Rio chokes Ziggler and he gets a near fall. Del Rio returns to the reverse chin lock. Ziggler with an elbow and Del Rio pulls Ziggler to the mat by his hair.

Del Rio goes up top and he comes off but Ziggler with a drop kick and both men are down. Del Rio and Ziggler exchange punches. Del Rio with a kick but Ziggler with a flying clothesline. Ziggler with a Stinger Splash and he connects. Ziggler stays on the turnbuckles for punches to Del Rio. Ziggler with a neck breaker and he gets a near fall.

Ziggler misses a Fameasser and Del Rio with a German suplex and bridge for a near fall. Del Rio with a kick to the head. Del Rio sets for the running step up enzuigiri but Ziggler ducks and then Dolph with a Fameasser for a near fall.

Ziggler tries for the DDT but Del Rio pushes him away. Del Rio with an enzuigiri for a near fall. Del Rio slams Ziggler’s knee into the mat and then he goes up top. Ziggler leaps to the turnbuckles and hits a Super X Factor but Del Rio kicks out. Ziggler mocks Del Rio’s super kick set up and he tries for a super kick but Del Rio avoids it and Del Rio gets a near fall. Ziggler with a DDT and he gets a near fall.

Ziggler goes up top and Del Rio crotches Ziggler. Del Rio with forearms to the back and then Del Rio tries for an inverted superplex and he hits it. Del Rio can only get a two count. Del Rio tries to figure out what he will have to do to win this match. Del Rio signals for the cross arm breaker.

Ziggler with a neck breaker for a near fall. Ziggler tries for a sleeper but Del Rio holds on to the ropes. Del Rio with a power bomb to counter a Fameasser and then he floats over into the cross arm breaker and Ziggler taps out.

Winner: Alberto Del Rio

We take a look at the feature in the 50th Anniversary DVD of Saturday Night’s Main Event.

Before our next match, Damien Sandow has something to say. He says this year he is most thankful that he has given up on trying to educate the half wits. He tells everyone he has the microphone so everyone else needs to have their mouths closed. He does not need a Money in the Bank briefcase to show that he is the uncrowned World Champion. All he needs is a worthy opponent, but until he finds one, Santino will have to do.

Match Number Two: Santino Marella versus Damien Sandow

They lock up and Santino puts Sandow in the corner and he gives a clean break. Santino with a side head lock but Sandow with a shoulder tackle. Santino fails in his attempt to kip up. Santino with a waist lock and Sandow with an elbow. Santino with a power walk but Sandow with a knee and then he kicks Santino.

Sandow with a forearm and then he sends Santino to the floor. Sandow follows after Santino and he sends Santino into the ringside barrier. Sandow with an elbow across the throat while Santino hangs over the apron. Sandow pulls down the knee pad and he connects with a knee drop. Sandow with a reverse chin lock.

Santino with an arm drag to escape. Santino with a kip up followed by a split, hip toss, and diving head butt. Santino goes for the Cobra but Sandow eludes it and hits You’re Welcome for the three count.

Winner: Damien Sandow

We go to commercial.

We are back with a Raw Rebound and it is a look at the announcement of the match at TLC as well as the main event from Monday night.

It is time for Wednesdays with the COO and Michael Cole asks Triple H about the main event at TLC. Hunter says both titles will be above the ring. The goal will be to have one undisputed WWE Champion. With no brand extension, there is no need for two champions. If you are the WWE Champion, you represent everyone. The title that was held by Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Hulk Hogan, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels, Rock, Steve Austin, John Cena, and himself. Hunter says that he wants one champion to represent this company going into the new year.

Match Number Three: Fandango (with Summer Rae) versus Kofi Kingston

They lock up and Fandango with a waist lock but Kofi with a standing switch and a rollup for a near fall. They lock up and Kofi with a hammer lock but Fandango with a back drop. Kofi holds on and gets a near fall with a rollup. Kofi with a backslide for a near fall. Kofi with another rollup for a near fall. Kofi with a side head lock take down.

Kofi holds on to the side head lock as they get to their feet. Kofi tries for a monkey flip but Fandango pushes him away. Fandango with a monkey flip but Kofi lands on his feet. Kofi with a monkey flip of his own and Fandango goes to the floor. Fandango returns to the ring and Fandango with a kick and punch.

Fandango with more punches to Kofi followed by a side head lock. Fandango floats over in the corner but Kofi with leap frogs and he tries for the leaping back elbow but Fandango knows it is coming. Fandango tries for an O’Connor Roll but Kofi holds on to the ropes. Fandango is sent to the floor and Kofi with a flip dive onto Fandango and we go to commercial.

We are back and Kofi with a quarter nelson and chin lock. Fandango backs Kofi into the corner. Kofi with an Irish whip but Kofi is sent to the apron. Kofi with a kick from the apron and then he goes up top. Fandango pushes Kofi off the turnbuckles and to the floor. Fandango goes to the floor and he slams Kofi’s head into the apron.

Fandango rolls Kofi back in and he gets a near fall. Fandango with a rear chin lock and he puts his knee in Kofi’s back. Fandango with a reverse chin lock. Kofi with punches but Fandango sends Kofi to the mat with a handful of hair. Fandango with a slingshot leg drop from the apron and he gets a near fall.

Fandango with a kick to the back and then he chokes Kofi in the ropes. Fandango with a snap mare and reverse chin lock. Kofi with elbows but Fandango with a knee to the midsection. Fandango with a hard Irish whip to Kofi and he gets a near fall. Fandango with punches to Kofi and the referee warns Fandango.

Kofi with punches and kicks to Fandango but Fandango with a European uppercut and a knee drop. Fandango gets a near fall. Fandango with a reverse chin lock. Kofi with a jawbreaker but Fandango returns to the reverse chin lock. Kofi with another jawbreaker and he gets out of the hold. Fandango charges into the corner but Kofi moves. Kofi with chops followed by a drop kick and leaping clothesline. Kofi with the Boom Drop and he gets ready for Trouble in Paradise.

Summer distracts Kofi but the distraction does not work and Kofi with a pendulum kick and then he gets a near fall with a springboard cross body. Fandango misses a punch and Kofi misses Trouble in Paradise. Fandango with a kick to the back but he can only get a near fall. Fandango goes up top for the FandangoBama Jam but Kofi is able to recover and he crotches Fandango.

Kofi tries for a superplex but Fandango pushes him off. Kofi with a punch to Fandango and then he tries for the superplex but Fandango stops him. Fandango with a sunset flip power bomb but Kofi kicks out at two. Fandango goes up top for the FandangoBama Jam but Kofi moves. Kofi with Trouble in Paradise for the three count.

Winner: Kofi Kingston
