With Hogan gone, and Bischoff X2 also seemingly following, do you see Scott Steiner returning to TNA? A Steiner shoot promo on the old regime would be awesome TV.
Since TNA is looking to go to more younger, inexpensive talent, probably not. Plus, they are involved in the litigation with Steiner as well since it was their contract that they allege he violated.
Do you think when/if the WWE Network launches they will consider running shows from other promotions? Or do you think their catalog is enough to sustain the network.
I would say in most cases probably not, for a few reasons. For one thing, they like to own what they air. For another, they have very high production standards and most independents wouldn't meet WWE's standards. With older footage that they own, they would be less of an issue.
Booking and creative aside, how talented do you think WWE's current roster is? Compared to let's say previous WWE eras. Or is it hard to judge because of the booking?
It's hard to tell for a few reasons. For one thing, guys can't improvise on promos and in the ring the way that guys could in the past. They also have to give promos that are written for them, which makes it harder to see how good they are at connecting with the crowd. Also, the guys today aren't allowed to do things that their predecessors did in the ring. With that said, given that so much of the roster only knows the WWE way and is not as well rounded as rosters were in the past, I would say that today's pales in comparison.
Do you see WWE using the Andy Kaufman death hoax rumors as part of a storyline in the near future or for the possible Hall of Fame induction?
I hope not. That would be tacky, just as it would if it ever turned out that Kaufman faled his death.
With Christmas right around the corner, Will Santa Claus return to get revenge on Alberto Del Rio for almost ruining Christmas?
I always expect hoky, schlocky stuff from the WWE around any holiday.
