HERO'S FAREWELL WWE STATEMENT, TNA INTEREST, THE POSITIVE HOGAN'S TNA EXIT BRINGS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2013-11-16 10:00:24
Do you anticipate TNA going after recently released WWE star Chris Hero?

I haven't heard of any TNA interest in Hero, but if they were smart, he'd be a good pick-up to at least add to their in-ring roster.

With Hulk Hogan no longer with TNA does that free up money normally reserved for Hogan as a means to possibly encourage new talents to sign with the company?

Of course. The company was spending, according to some, over $30,000 per Hogan appearance. That money adds up and they could shift those funds, if that amount was correct, to other talents.

What do you think of the idea of TNA Knockout champion Gail Kim choosing her opponents from outside the company instead of from within? I think its a great idea. Opinion?

Anything that can create new stars or bring in additional interest to the Knockouts division, I am happy to see.

Don't you wish all wrestlers handled themselves with as much class as Chris Hero did in his statement regarding his WWE release?

Wrestlers? How about people in life! Hero came off like a mature, understanding, smart person and quite frankly, not a lot of people do that in today's day and age.

Whatever happened to JT Smith?

Smith retired in 1996 and lives in Virginia. Last I heard, he works in the technology world. Every so often, he pops up, last time at the "final" ECW Arena event promoted by EVOLVE.
