Corey Graves is on the stages and he says that he supposes that there is some sort of explanation in order. He supposed that Adrian Neville wants to know why he did what he did to him. He supposes that the NXT Universe would like to know . . .
We will not know because Neville attacks Graves from behind. They go into the ring and Graves kicks Neville. Neville takes down Graves and punches him as officials come to the ring to separate them. That does not work because Neville hits a pescado onto Graves. More officials come out to pull them apart.
We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom ‘New Tony Dawson’ Phillips, Alex ‘Who needs the truth’ Riley, and Tensai.
Match Number One: Emma versus Sasha Banks (with Summer Rae)
Emma continues to do her arm gesturing after the bell rings and Sasha has something to say to her. Sasha pushes Emma and Emma pushes back. Sasha pushes her again and Emma with a double leg take down and she slams Sasha’s head into the mat. Emma with a rollup for a near fall. Emma follows with an arm bar.
Sasha with an Irish whip but Emma goes to the apron when Sasha charges into the corner and then Emma with a rollup for a near fall. Emma with an arm drag into an arm bar. Sasha with a knee and then she sends Emma into the turnbuckles. Sasha with a forearm to the back and then she sends her into the turnbuckles again.
Sasha taunts Emma but Emma tries to kick Sasha away. Emma is sent into the turnbuckles again and Sasha gets a near fall. Emma avoids being sent into the turnbuckles and she sends Sasha repeatedly into the turnbuckles. Emma misses a splash into the corner and Sasha sends Emma hard to the mat. Sasha gets a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Sasha with a body scissors and reverse chin lock. Summer paces back and forth at ringside while she watches her BFF maintain control of the match. Sasha holds on to the chin lock and she takes her down to the mat one more time. Emma with elbows and she gets out of the hold but Sasha with a back elbow and she gets another near fall.
Sasha continues to taunt Emma on the mat but Emma slaps Sasha. Sasha with forearms to the back and she gets a near fall. Sasha returns to the reverse chin lock and body scissors. Emma with elbows to get free. Sasha misses a clothesline and Emma with clotheslines. Sasha with an Irish whip but Emma moves and Emma applies the DilEmma.
Emma marches and hits the cross body into the corner for a near fall. Emma catapults Sasha to the mat and she rolls through to set up the Emma Lock but Summer gets on the apron and Emma goes to deal with Summer. That is not really needed because Paige comes to the ring and she pulls Summer off the apron.
Sasha with an inside cradle for the three count.
Winner: Sasha Banks
after the match, Sasha taunts Emma but she does not realize that Paige is behind her. Paige tries to clothesline Sasha but she misses and she accidentally clotheslines Emma. Paige checks on Emma and they go back and forth for a moment.
We go to comments from Bo Dallas in the hallway. He is asked about the controversy over his victory last week. Bo says that all that matters is that he is the champion. Bo says that he has a huge announcement. He tells his BoLievers that he will be taking a well deserved vacation. He will be touring the World on the Bo Dallas versus the World Tour. He will be going to Bolivia to deliver 10,000 squirt guns to starving children. It will be a blast. He will be doing some wrestling too. He will also be doing some sight seeing. Until he sees them again, he says koniciwa. He says that is goodbye in Japanese. He tells everyone to Don’t stop BOlieving.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Tommy Taylor and Casey Maron versus Conor O’Brian and Rick Victor in a Non Title Match
Maron and Conor start things off and they lock up. Conor sends Maron into the turnbuckles and follows with a splash. Victor tags in and he kicks Maron. Victor sends Maron into the turnbuckles and connects with chops and Canadian Lifters. Victor with a back drop and he tags Conor back in. O’Brian with a series of shoulder tackles and he tags Victor back in.
Victor with a head butt to the midsection and he kicks Maron in the head. Victor with a rake of the face and then he kicks Casey in the back. Victor knocks Taylor off the apron with a drop kick before Maron can tag him in. O’Brian tags in and they hit a double hip toss slam. They tag Victor in and they hit The Fall of Man for the three count.
Winners: Conor O’Brian and Rick Victor
We see highlights from the NXT Title Match and John Layfield’s decision to restart the match.
Sami was interviewed shortly after the match for his thoughts on what JBL did. Sami says that he had the title in his hands. He has no problem with JBL restarting the match because Bo’s foot was on the ropes. However, he has a problem with JBL not restarting the match when Bo clearly used the exposed turnbuckle.
Sami says that he understands what is going on with Daniel Bryan. Maybe he is not the ‘chosen guy’. Triple H runs everything and now JBL is put in charge down here and this happens. The next time he has the title in his hands, it is staying there for good.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Renee Young is with John Layfield. Renee asks John about Sami. John asks Renee if she is wearing an NXT issued tank top. Renee says that she can change it. She brings up the potential conspiracy between John and Triple H.
John says that Copernicus must be wrong because the world and universe revolve around Sami Zayn. Is he going to blame the sun being in his eyes, his shoes being tied, or the evil general manager for his loss? The Era of the Wrestling God will not start with controversy. A mistake made by the referee was overturned because it is what is best for business.
He cannot be bought. Triple H is the COO of an NYSE publicly traded company and he does what is fair and best for business. They take accusations seriously and they take baseless accusations very seriously. Sami Zayn is not here. You are not going to see him for a while. He should look up JBL and find out who he is dealing with. He should call Mr. Layfield’s office and learn some respect and apologize to him. Until then, Sami will not be back. He can think about what he did.
John tells Renee to think about finding a different shirt.
CJ Parker still has Tyler Breeze’s phone as he makes his way to the ring.
Match Number Three: CJ Parker versus Alexander Rusev
They lock up and Rusev with knees in the corner. Rusev with a kick and forearm to the back. Rusev with a diving head butt followed by a body block as Parker comes off the ropes. Rusev charges into the corner while a woman walks around ringside. Rusev with the camel clutch and Parker taps out.
Winner: Alexander Rusev
After the match, the mystery woman continues to walk around the ring.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we see what happened during the commercial break, exclusively in the building. Tyler Breeze attacked CJ Parker and he took one of Parker’s dreadlocks and he took his phone back.
Next week we will see CJ Parker versus Tyler Breeze as well as Summer Rae versus Paige.
Match Number Four: Corey Graves versus Adrian Neville
The bell rings and Neville with a running drop kick that sends Graves into the turnbuckles. Graves with a kick and punch followed by a chop. Neville with a forearm and kicks but Graves punches back. Neville kicks Graves some more and he puts him in the ropes. Graves goes to the floor and Neville with a drop kick that sends Graves to the floor. Neville waits for Graves to get up and Neville with a corkscrew plancha onto Graves.
Neville sends Graves back into the ring and he gets a near fall. Graves begs for mercy but Neville with a kick to the chest. Graves grabs the leg and he takes Neville to the mat. Graves tries to drop down on the leg but Neville moves and rolls up Graves for a near fall.
Neville gets another near fall. Graves tries to get to the ropes but Neville continues his attack. Graves with kicks to the leg and he puts the leg in the ropes and he uses the ropes to drop a knee on the leg. Graves with punches to the head. Graves pulls Neville out of the corner and he continues to work on the leg. Graves with punches while Neville tries to defend himself with his good leg.
Neville with a kick but Graves with kicks and then he chokes Neville. Graves with an atomic drop to the knee and then he connects with a fist drop for a near fall. Neville kicks Graves but Graves with a modified figure four leg lock. Graves tries for another atomic drop to the knee but Neville with a sunset flip for a near fall.
Graves with a step over toe hold into a leg drop and he gets another near fall. Graves kicks Neville and pulls him out of the corner. Graves returns to the modified figure four leg lock and Graves gets a near fall.
Neville with elbows to get Graves to release the hold. Neville with a forearm or two. Neville with a hobbling forearm into the corner and then Neville goes up top but he has some trouble getting up there. Neville leaps over Graves when Corey charges into the corner and Neville’s leg buckles a bit. Neville with a rollup for a near fall.
Graves dives at the knee and he applies Lucky Thirteen and Neville has to tap out.
Winner: Corey Graves
After the match, Graves applies Lucky Thirteen to Neville on the ramp.
