WWE NXT REPORT: ROB VAN DAM IN THE MAIN EVENT; DIVAS TAG MATCH SET FOR NEXT WEEK; CESARO VS. KRUGER; AND MORE

Rob Van Dam makes his NXT debut tonight. What else will happen this week as we get ready for next week’s battle between Sami Zayn and Bo Dallas for the NXT Title.

We are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are Tom ‘Terrific’ Phillips and Alex ‘Musburger’ Riley

Match Number One: Leo Kruger versus Antonio Cesaro

Cesaro starts things off with a running drop kick and a kick. Cesaro with kicks and forearms but Kruger with chops. Cesaro holds on to the ropes but Kruger clotheslines Cesaro over the top rope to the floor. Kruger with a back rake and he sends Cesaro into the apron. Cesaro and Kruger continue to battle on the floor before returning to the ring.

Kruger kicks Cesaro and he chokes Cesaro and then puts the ring skirt over Cesaro’s face. Cesaro rolls to the other side of the ring and he connects with a shoulder to the midsection. Cesaro with a knee to the midsection. Kruger with a chop but Cesaro with a boot to the head.

Cesaro stomps on the midsection and then he chokes Kruger in the ropes. Cesaro with an elbow drop followed by a running kick to the back. Cesaro with a suplex attempt but Kruger blocks it. Kruger with a suplex of his own. Kruger with a punch to the midsection followed by more punches and kicks as the action moves into the corner.

Kruger chokes Cesaro and then he hits a side Russian leg sweep and he gets a near fall. Kruger with an elbow to the head followed by more punches. Cesaro with an Irish whip and a running European uppercut for a near fall. Cesaro leaps onto the chest with a double stomp and he gets another near fall.

Cesaro with a punch and kick followed by a uranage for a near fall. Cesaro with an elbow drop and then he goes up top but Kruger with a forearm that staggers Cesaro. Kruger tries for a superplex but Cesaro stops him momentarily, but Kruger is able to hit the superplex and both men are down as we go to commercial.

We are back and Kruger knocks Cesaro off the apron. Kruger with a suicide dive onto Cesaro. Kruger rolls Cesaro back into the ring and he hits a spinebuster and he waits for the Slice but Cesaro sees it coming and he goes to the floor.

Kruger follows after Cesaro and Cesaro sends Kruger into the ring steps. Kruger rolls back into the ring and Cesaro sends Kruger to the floor. Cesaro with a back drop driver onto the ring apron. Cesaro gets back into the ring and Kruger struggles to get back into the ring before ten but he returns to the ring.

Cesaro sends Kruger back to the floor and they go up the ramp and Cesaro with a gutwrench suplex on the ramp. Cesaro returns to the ring and Kruger crawls to the ring and he gets back into the ring in time. Cesaro with punches to Kruger and then he connects with a series of European uppercuts as he switches arms. Cesaro with the Alpamare Water Slide for a near fall. Cesaro adjusts his neck for the Gotch Style Neutralizer but Kruger with a back body drop to escape. Cesaro runs into an uppercut from Kruger but Cesaro with the elevated European uppercut but Kruger kicks out at two.

Cesaro with the sleeper and he drops down to the mat and he applies a body scissors. Kruger starts to lose consciousness but Kruger is able to get a second wind. Cesaro with a short arm clothesline followed by the Gotch Style Neutralizer for the three count.

Winner: Antonio Cesaro

After the match, Cesaro goes up top and connects with a knee drop. Cesaro says something to Kruger and then he leaves the ring.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Renee Young joins Tom and Alex for the next match.

Match Number Two: Charlotte Flair (with Bayley) versus Santana Garrett

They lock up and Santana with an arm drag but they hold on to the collar and elbow tie up. Charlotte takes Santana to the mat. Charlotte with a wrist lock but Santana with a reversal. Charlotte with a reversal of her own. Charlotte with an Irish whip but Santana with an elbow and she sends Charlotte into the turnbuckles. Santana with a snap mare followed by a boot to the chest for a near fall.

Santana with a side Russian leg sweep while Summer Rae and Sasha Banks make their way to the ring.

Santana with an arm bar submission but Charlotte with a near fall. Charlotte with chops to Santana. Charlotte with a split into a rollup for a near fall. Santana gets a near fall with a rollup when Sasha distracts Charlotte. Charlotte with flapjack from the shoulders and then she kips up. Charlotte with a sliding DDT for the three count.

Winner: Charlotte Flair

After the match, Summer Rae and Sasha Banks get into the ring. Summer has a message for all of the Divas in the locker room. She wants everyone to know who the first lady of NXT and the Boss is. They are beautiful, fierce females. They will run NXT and the WWE. Now that Paige is out, there is nothing that anyone can do about them.

Paige comes from behind and she attacks Sasha. Summer hits Paige from behind and Paige works over Summer. Summer and Sasha double team Paige and Emma makes her way to the ring and that forces Summer and Sasha to leave the ring.

We have a Mojo Rawley video package where he talks about motivation and how it makes you better than the next guy who is not motivated enough. It is reaching deep and pulling it out. It is knowing that you can do anything. It is not about what you have done in the ring, it is how you get there.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Tony Dawson is in the interview area with Summer Rae and Sasha Banks. He asks them about what just happened with Paige. Summer says that she is the first lady of NXT and Sasha is the Boss of NXT. They don’t get embarrassed, they get even. If Paige and Emma think they are so great. She makes a challenge for Paige and Emma for next week.

Match Number Three: Mojo Rawley versus Danny Burch

They lock up and Burch with a shoulder and kick. Burch with a forearm to the back. Burch with a kick when Rawley holds on to the ropes. Rawley with an Irish whip but Burch with an elbow. Burch tries to send Rawley into the turnbuckles but Rawley blocks it and he connects with an elbow. Rawley sends Burch into the turnbuckles.

Burch with a near fall and he applies a reverse chin lock. Burch uses the tights to pull Rawley to the mat. Burch with elbows and he gets a near fall. Burch with a quarter nelson and chin lock. Burch with a knee but Rawley with a series of shoulder tackles. Rawley with a splash into the corner and then he hits a second one. Rawley with a running butt splash and a seated splash for the three count.

Winner: Mojo Rawley

Paige and Emma are in the back and Tony Dawson wants a response to Summer’s challenge. Emma says that she didn’t like getting bubble solution poured in her eyes. Paige says that she did not appreciate getting attacked from behind by Sasha so they accept the challenge.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Sylvester Lefort introduces himself and he introduces his Legionnaires.

Not to be outdone, Enzo and Colin have something to say. Enzo says that he feels like they are at Cheers because everybody knows your name. Colin says that when he looks at the Sloppy Jalopies in the ring, there is only one word to describe them.

Match Number Four: Alexander Rusev and Scott Dawson (with Sylvester Lefort) versus Colin Cassady and Enzo Amore

Cassady and Rusev start things off and Rusev misses a punch in the corner but Colin does not miss. Cassady with an Irish whip but he runs into an elbow. Cassady with a knee and forearm. Enzo tags in and he punches Rusev but Rusev shakes it off. Enzo tries for a cross body and Rusev catches him and connects with knees to the back while against the ropes.

Dawson tags in and he connects with an elbow and gets a near fall. Dawson with an elbow drop for a near fall. Dawson with a snap suplex followed by a short arm clothesline for a near fall. Dawson with a belly-to-back suplex for a near fall. Rusev takes care of Cassady on the apron.

Rusev tags in and he Irish whips Amore and Rusev with a running shoulder into the corner. Rusev with a Camel Clutch and Enzo taps out.

Winners: Scott Dawson and Alexander Rusev

After the match, Dawson holds Cassady in the corner and Rusev with a running shoulder into the corner. Rusev puts Cassady in the camel clutch and Cassady taps for no reason.

We go to the back where Renee Young is with Sami Zayn. Sami is excited to be the number one contender. She asks him what his plan will be. Sami says that it was tough to get the number one contender spot. Next week, it will be him and Bo Dallas.

Bo enters the interview area and he says that was not really cool what he did last week. Bo says that he thought they were friends. Sami hurt his feeling.

Sami apologizes for hurting his feelings but it is not personal. Bo is the NXT Champion and the title is what Sami wants.

Bo says that they should team up and face the tag team champions. They can rule NXT together. . . as friends.

Sami says that it sounds like a good idea. Sami Zayn and Bo Dallas the NXT Tag Champions. They are in. Sami says that they do it after he beats Bo for the NXT Championship. Sami leaves and Bo says that was un-Bo-lievable.

We go to commercial.

We are back and Aiden English demands a spotlight for his song. He sings about being a sports entertainer in the 21st Century.

Match Number Five: Aiden English versus Rob Van Dam (with Ricardo Rodriguez)

They lock up and Van Dam with a side head lock. English with a top wrist lock and he bows. Van Dam pushes English and he demands that Rob not shove him and he asks the referee to admonish Rob. English with a side head lock but Van Dam with a body scissors roll up for a near fall.

Van Dam teases a spinning heel kick but English is able to avoid it. Van Dam with a step over heel kick followed by an Irish whip and monkey flip. Van Dam clotheslines English over the top rope to the floor. Van Dam with a moonsault from the apron. Van Dam with a slingshot leg drop to the apron and he gets a near fall.

English has a kick blocked and Van Dam with a slam. English goes to the floor to avoid Rolling Thunder. Van Dam follows after English. Van Dam reenters the ring and English kicks the ropes and then he kicks Van Dam while he is down. English with a suplex for a near fall. English with a reverse chin lock.

Van Dam with an inside cradle for a near fall. English with kicks. Van Dam blocks being sent into the turnbuckles and he kicks English. Van Dam with clotheslines followed by a thrust kick and Rolling Thunder. Van Dam goes up top for the five star frog splash and he connects and gets the three count.

Winner: Rob Van Dam
