Given the "Dr. Hiney" bit, the multiple embarassments in Oklahoma, is it really that shocking that WWE would handle the "retirement" of Jim Ross as they did? I submit to you that despite the hollow words of the McMahons on Twitter, they've shown a pattern of disrespect toward him while he was there.

Sadly, it doesn't surprise me either. I hate that this had to happen. I think it is embarrassing and reprehensible in fact. If WWE felt the need to "retire" Ross after what happened at the SummerSlam Q and A, they should have at least given him a deserved send off on TV. After all of the times that Vince McMahon has embarrassed him on TV, it would have been the classy way to handle it. But does it surprise me that it wasn't handled with class? Unfortunately, no.

Triple H wrote: "Can't thank you enough @JRsBBQ for all you've done for me personally and for @WWE ... Enjoy your time, you've earned it!!! #thankyouJR"

That just seems like he is rubbing the termination right in his face with "you've earned it!!!". Am I seeing that because I love JR's work and I'm seeing red, or is it a valid thought? I think this whole situation is bull excrement. I just don't know if I can keep supporting a company that is overreacting to every situation and canning people when the gimmick creative writes buries them, and not their performances. Blah, what's you're take on all of that horribly focused question/paragraph?

Only HHH knows what he meant when he wrote that but considering that JR didn't want to retire and doesn't want the time off that he has "earned", I definitely think it was a poor choice of words on H's part.

I know you're site is a fan of Jim Ross, and there's been plenty of praise for him (along with The King) being the best announce team duo. However, if you take them out of the equation, who are you favorite announcing teams throughout the recent decades? I personally have to go with Gorilla Monsoon and Jesse The Body Ventura, as the team that tops the list.

I think that Gorilla and Bobby Heenan were awesome, especially when you consider what they were calling in the days before "competitive" matches. Another really underrated tandem was Taz and Michael Cole back in the Smackdown days.

Do you think DBry unseated Punk as the biggest non-Cena face? I love Bryan but don't think he is at Punk's level yet. I know WWE is a "what have you done lately" business but wouldn't Punk be very outspoken about his role in Cena's absence especially with his feud, hopefully, coming to an end at NOC?

Punk can suggest things but at the end of the day it comes down to what Vince McMahon wants to book. To me, Bryan hasn't unseated Punk yet. Punk has years of top work in WWE on his resume. Bryan can get there down the road, for sure. Well, as long as WWE lets him anyway.

Are you excited about the idea of a WWE video game featuring at least one match from every Wrestlemania thus far? What matches are you excited to see? What matches are you hoping will be featured on the game?

I am not a gamer so I am not excited personally, but I am happy for all of the gamers out there who are looking forward to product. It will be cool for people to do their own dream matchups.
