I have a few questions but they all tie together. After watching Raw with Vince, Triple H, Steph, Orton and the Shield all together do you see this as the new corporation angle a la 1999? And if so is this a good idea? Will it elevate Bryan more? And other faces?
As I type this on Monday before Raw, yes it seems that way. I think it's a mistake. I think it makes more sense to create the next big thing than copy an old angle.
You've stated many times the US and IC belts mean little and should be retired. What if the WWE stole an idea front TNA where one of the belt holders where able to turn in belt for a championship match?
The problem I see is that the belts aren't built up enough for them to do that. Plus, WWE already has the Money In The Bank briefcases and The Royal Rumble to give guys Title shots.
Do you think Darren Young’s coming out will have a positive impact on how the Prime Time Players are received by the fans. They got quite the reaction on Monday, and I don’t recall them getting that before.
I don't think it will hurt. They should get a better push now since he is in the headlines. That is just the nature of the business.
I was wondering about the announce team with WWE, when will like Michael Cole or any other guys take vacation or do they take time off during consecutive tapings that are recorded to play later ?
They are expected to be at TV when needed and they can take time off when the company tapes shows in advance. The announcers know that they have a very special job and they know that they have to be there when WWE wants them to be there.
Is Brad Maddox supposed to remind us of Eric Bischoff? His sleazy demeanour is much more reminiscent of Eazy E than Bischoff's own son, Garrett.
He isn't supposed to, he just kind of does because he looks very similar to Bischoff. Maddox is 100 times better than Bischoff was at the same point in Easy E's career though. Bischoff's work in the AWA was painful to watch, for me at least.
