My friend and I are having a disagreement. I say Chris Jericho is a first ballout Hall of Famer (a real Hall, not the WWE version). My friend said he is not even sure that Jericho is, let along first ballot. Who is right?
You are 100% right. Jericho is easily a first ballot Hall Of Famer in my mind.
WWE has just opened the new Performance Center, which looks awesome. It seems like they are finally taking creating new young wrestlers seriously. What caused the turnaround? Is it really as simple as HHH?
Nothing in a company the size of WWE is ever that simple but yes, Triple H is the driving force behind the Center and the overhaul in the Developmental system. His approach to it is not just great, it's instrumental to the company's future success. He has done a great job with the Center, the relationship with Full Sail University and also taking advantage of all of the great minds WWE has at their disposal to help shape and make the young talent.
How is it that in one weekend WWE can book Rob Van Dam better than TNA did the whole time he was there?
The easy answer is that WWE made an effort. TNA never seemed to do that.
Why did it take TNA so long to get rid of Bruce Prichard? If it's a guy's job to sign wrestlers to contracts and he repeatedly lets their deals expire, doesn't that mean he isn't very good at his job?
As long as he wasn't being told by management to let those deals expire, yes it sure does reflect poorly on him. That also made me wonder how he was never called on the carpet. When anyone can't get one of the primary aspects of your job done correctly, they should be let go.
Do you think it makes TNA look sleazy to fire a bunch of people and then debut a new X Title belt, when they could have spent money on their talent?
Sleazy? No, I wouldn't say that. But yeah, if I were let go due to cost cutting, I probably would have been a little ticked to see them debut a new title belt.
