How do you see WWE using RVD, now that he is back with them?
I think he is perfectly suited for a role similar to Chris Jericho, where he helps work with younger talent while maintaining an upper midcard position. WWE needs established stars to help the younger guys grow. RVD would be great in that role.
I know it's early, but what would you guess will be the main event(s) of the next Wrestlemania? What do you think it should be? (Always enjoy your insight, btw Dave.)
Wow, too soon to say. If Steve Austin is going to come in, he would be in it. You don't bring him back for a semi-main event. We also need to know the status of Rock and The Undertaker. It's probably a safe bet to pick John Cena to be involved in the main event if you were wagering.
I know that the whole thing is arbitrary, but where do you sit on WWE Hall Of Fame inductions for: Rick Rude, Madusa, Lord Alfred Hayes and The British Bulldogs.
It is all really in the hands of who upper management in WWE wants to bring in. On merit, to me, Rude and The Bulldogs are no-brainers.
How would you feel about Jeff Jarrett joining the Main Event Mafia?
I would love it if for no other reason it would get him back on TV! It makes no sense to me that the founder of the damn company isn't on the show when guys much older than him are.
I see that Tayler Hendrix and Crimson were released by TNA . However when I read the results of OVW I still saw their names . I thought they were a farming ground for TNA . Am I wrong or is it just set up different than FCW is for WWE? Who would be paying them now , seeing as the cuts were for budget reasons?
TNA compensates their talents when they work in OVW but non-TNA folks can train there as well. Basically, they pay their own way at that point.
