Bret Hart was only scheduled to be General Manager for a short time. It was a short-term stoyline, not something that was changed due a falling out.
How many legends have turned down an invite into the WWE HOF that you know of? I heard Bruno Sammartino, Ultimate Warrior, Bob Backlund (in 2004), and Sting all say they have turned it down, do you know of any others?
There may have been others, but those names are the ones that have become most known. There may have been others. That said, no one in WWE has ever told me that Sting was invited, much less turned down an invitation.
I remember hearing Vince McMahon signed like a three year contract a couple years ago for his position, do you know if he plans to retire when it runs out? Just seems strange he signed a contract when most would think he would be there for the rest of his life. However, it also seems ironic that Triple H is slowly taking over Vince's duties. What are your thoughts? Do you see him leaving WWE when his contract is over?
Vince McMahon was signed to a deal because it was the smartest thing for WWE the corporate entity to do on paper. It shows the stockholders that the company is smart enough to lock up one of their best assets. It's really just a formality. Vince is never going anywhere. My gut feeling is that he will work in some capacity until the day he can no longer work, physically or mentally, but the business remains his passion and he's going to oversee it until it's pulled, as Charlton Heston once famously said from his "cold, dead hands."
I recently checked out my hometown newspaper to see what was scheduled on TV . I saw the BCS Championship game: Notre Dame vs Alabama. Womens basketball. Things like that. All of a suddenly it struck me. There was nothing listed for WWE Raw on USA Network. To your knowledge have you ever seen any newspaper list in their Sports Section scheduled events on TV such as WWE Raw/Smackdown, TNA Impact or ROH Wrestling?
Nope.
Where the hell did Hornswoggle and Santino disappear off to?
Hornswoggle is currently filming the WWE Studios' Leprechaun film. Santino has been off with a neck issue and has been busy setting up a training center he will be operating in Toronto.
