Braxton was among the early members of the cast, playing a Lousiana Voodoo queen on the series. While with GLOW, Big Bad Mama appeared in her persona on an episode of FOX series "Married with Children."
After GLOW ran its course, Braxton left the business, working as an auto mechanic and successfully battled cancer.
Braxton was among the original GLOW performers who was interviewed and featured in the excellent "Story of Glow" documentary, which debuted earlier this year on the LOGO cable network after making the rounds at different film festivals.
Our deepest condolences to Braxton's friends, family and fans during this sad time.
