Cox was a part-time wrestler in the Dayton area who was well liked by a lot of the wrestlers in the area. He had a reputation for always being in a good mood and for being a really positive person. He was big on letting newer wrestlers work for him as he was about "living his dream" and wanted others to have that same experience.
Historically, he will go down as the promoter who booked current WWE NXT talent Kassius Ohno, formerly known as Chris Hero, on his first official independent booking. He also used current CZW talents Irish Airborne on their first events.
Rog worked for Atlas Security when ECW ran the Mid-West and used those connections to bring in several ECW names such as Tommy Dreamer, Sabu and Francine to work his events. He was really well loved by the Atlas crew.
There were a lot of people from the Mid-West scene really saddened by his passing as we heard from a lot of them overnight.
