WHAT WAS CUT FROM RAW ON HULU

By Kaleb Perkins on 2013-05-22 08:24:55

Hello everyone, my name is Kaleb Perkins, and welcome to this week's edition of "What was cut from Raw on Hulu." Before I begin I just want to send out out my condolences to the victim's of the Oklahoma tornadoes. I hope that if anyone who has suffered any type of damage who happens to be reading this, my thoughts go out to you and I hope that this can serve a little distraction to the chaos that is happening right now.

Raw starts off with an ambulance entering the arena, and we see El Hijo del Goldberg, aka Ryback exit from the back. We then see Ryback on top of the ambulance and begins to talk about his match at the PPV. We see a video Cena being carried to the ambulance, he refuses because he's SuperCena. Ryback then announces that he wants rematch with Cena at the Payback PPV in an Ambulance Match. Ryback then begins to insult the fans, and says the worship Cena. Um, I don't know about you, but I don't worship Cena, or anything for that matter. Ryback then ends his promo that their is one fact of live and that is Ryback Rules. We then find out that Paul Heyman will debut his new client tonight. I didn't care for the promo, just like I didn't care order the PPV on Sunday

We are back with The Miz and Chris Jericho vs. Wade Barrett and Fandango tag team match. Jerry Lawler is being creepy as ever with him talking about Summer Rae. I get it, she's hot. But why do you have to sound pervy about it? Wade Barrett comes out and has new music, which is worse than his old one. The match begins with Jericho and Barrett in the ring. Jericho had the advantage until Fandango got the tag took over the control of the match. Miz is now in the ring with Barrett, and was taking control until Fandango says his name on the mic and begins dancing with Summer, as his music is playing. Barrett is pissed and justifiably so. The music continues as Jericho hits the Codebreaker and tags in Miz to put in the Figure-Four to make Barrett tap out. I thought New Jack had the right to have is music play throughout the match. Miz and Jericho go after Fandango and leaves Summer all by herself. She and Jericho begins to dance, but Jericho is just playing with her. Jericho deserves so much better than this. I think I said this last week.

SKIPPED MATCH/SEGMENT #1: VICKIE'S ANNOUNCEMENT
We come back from the break and Vickie Guerrero comes out to the stage. She says Jack Swagger will have a match, and his opponent will be decided by the fans who the app. The choices are: The Great Khali, R-Truth, or Randy Orton. Boy, I wonder will the fans will vote for. We then see highlights from the PPV with The Shield winning championship matches at Extreme Rules.
We go to the locker room with Team Hell No. Daniel Bryan is angry that they aren't the Tag Team Champions. Kane isn't as angry as Bryan because they can't show weakness, which Bryan implies that Kane is saying he's the weak link in the team. Kofi then comes in to settle Bryan down and then Bryan leaves Kane and Kofi in the locker room. I think this could be the beginning of the end for Team Hell No, but they have teased us with that in the past.

SKIPPED MATCH/SEGMENT #2: SHEAMUS VS. TITUS O'NEIL
This match comes from the comments Titus made about Sheamus from the Post-Game show on the PPV. Sheamus begins his 10 forearms to the chest and take out Darren, but Titus attacks Sheamus from behind. Titus says to the fans, "Do you think he's f*****g tough?" I don't think you can say that on TV, Titus. Titus had control for a while, until Sheamus made his comeback. Darren interfered and almost got his partner the win. Sheamus hits the White Noise then the Brogue Kick to win the match. Titus had improved since he debuted on NXT season 2, and, in my opinion, could be a player in a couple of years.

Paul Heyman makes his way to the ring to announce his new client. Heyman talks about how Brock Lesnar defeated Triple H in their Steel Cage match at the PPV. I love listening to Paul Heyman promos. He could read the phone book and I would be entertained. Heyman says it's time for something new, and to witness history. He presents the new Paul Heyman guy, Micheal McGullli.... I mean Curtis Axel, who's using a remix version of his father's iconic theme. I think Curtis Axel is a better name than Micheal McGuillicutty, but I think it would've been better if used JOE F'N HENNIG, but beggars can't be choosers. Heyman then talks up Axel's legacy. We then hear Triple H's music, which interrupts Heyman. Hunter begins to speak, Axel interrupts him, but Hunter tells him that the grown-ups are talking. That nice, just casually insult someone who is getting the biggest push of their life. Hunter he's not ashamed that he lost at the PPV.  Hunter wants to kick Heyman's, but Axel says that Hunter has to go through him first. Hunter slaps Axel, and says he will have a match with Axel tonight. I hope they don't mess up Axel's push like they have just about everyone else's in the past decade.

SKIPPED MATCH/SEGMENT #3: ALBERTO DEL RIO VS. BIG E LANGSTON
Alberto tries to finish off Big E early with the cross armbreaker, but Big E powers out of it. Big E is overpowering Alberto throughout the match, but Alberto is beginning to make his comeback. Alberto hits the enzuigiri, but it's not enough as Big E hits the Big Ending on Alberto to get his biggest win in his career thus far. This was an okay match for the most part. Big E has to get a new finisher, though. It looks like it would hurt him more than his opponent.

SKIPPED MATCH/SEGMENT #4: LAYLA VS. AJ LEE
Before the match begins, we see footage of Kaitlyn and AJ backstage at Extreme Rules. The less I say about this, the better. AJ get the win the Black Widow, aka the Octopus Stretch. AJ pretty much dominated this match-up. AJ, and Natalya, are the only two women who can wrestle in the WWE, which is a shame, but hopefully that will change soon.

We are back with the Zack Ryder and Cody Rhodes match, joined in progress. Ryder was getting the advantage early, but Cody is now taking control. The announcers are talking more about Cena and Ryback than the match. Ryder gets a near fall after the Broski Boot. Cody wins after the Disaster Kick. Ryback's music hits, and Cody leaves the ring. Ryback then begins to destroy Ryder. Poor Ryder, I still thinks he's getting punished for getting himself over for his YouTube show. That and his recent comments. Ryback picks up Ryder and puts him in the ambulance that Ryback drove in earlier in the evening.

We are back with The Shield making their ring to the ring for their match against Team Hell No and Kofi Kingston. Ambrose talks about how they have dominated the WWE since they've debuted. Rollins begins to speak and says that they are a cohesive unit. Rollins has improved so much with his promos, as has Reigns. Ambrose says to believe in The Shield. I believe Dean, I believe. Kofi and Ambrose starts off the match. Kofi gets the advantage and tags in Bryan. Rollins is now in the match, but Bryan is still in control of the match. Kane is tagged in and continues to have control for his team. Kofi gets back in the match, and Rollins has yet to get in any offense. Rollins gets a little offense and gets Reigns to tag in the match. Reigns is now beating up on Kofi. Reigns slams Kofi down after he tried to slide under Reigns. Ambrose is back in and now continues to beating on Kofi. Rollins gets the tag. Rollins hits Kofi with a Reverse STO into the middle turnbuckle, a la Jay Briscoe, for a two count. Rollins then mocks Kofi, but gets a hurricanrana and tags in Bryan, and he is on fire. Bryan is now kicking the crap out of Rollins, but only gets a two count. Bryan goes to the top but gets crotched. Sheild come back and gets the win when Reigns spears Kane. Hunter is taping his wrists, doc says he shouldn't wrestle, but Hunter doesn't care. Great 6-man by the way.

SKIPPED MATCH/SEGMENT # 5: KAITLYN'S ADMIRER
Kaitlyn and Natalya talk about the admirer when Cody shows up. Natalya takes his phone, gives it to Kaitlyn, only to discover he's not the admirer.

SKIPPED MATCH/SEGMENT #6 : THE FIRST HALF OF JACK SWAGGER VS. ?
We found that Swagger's opponent is Randy Orton. Half of the match is cut for some reason unbeknownst to me. In the end, Orton wins in a very good back and forth match.

Before I start with the main event between Curtis Axel and Triple H, I had more written out for the 6-man tag match and Orton vs. Swagger, but my damn keyboard acted up and somehow deleted what I had typed out. Hopefully, this won't happen again, but I'm not holding my breath.

It's now time for the main event between Curtis Axel and Triple H. The announcers note that this is Triple H's first match on Raw in 3 years. Hunter shoves Axel in the corner followed by hitting Axel with a clothesline. Axel then begins to beat down Hunter in the corner, but Hunter counters it with punches. Hunter gets hit with a dropkick by Axel for a two count. Axel hits a flying elbow for a two count. Heyman is shouting out encouragement while Axel his Hunter in a rear chin lock. Hunter shoves him in the corner with shoulder thrusts. Hunter hits Axel with the facebuster, then the spinebuster. Axel is clotheslined over the top by Hunter. Hunter is starting to feel the affects from the steel cage match. Hunter throws Axel in the ring, but can't get back into the ring. Hunter goes to the ringside doctor to get some water. The ringside doctor signals to stop the match. Hunter gets up only to fall back down. The ref tries to help him up, but Hunter refuses, and that's how Raw ends.

Overall, I thought it was a better show than last week, but I hated the way they ended the show. It would've been better if Axel knocked out Hunter instead of what they did, but what do I know. I'm just some dumb, internet smark. That's going to do it for me. I apologize for not having my full thoughts on everything, but I touched on that a little earlier. I will be back next week, so until then, have a great week everyone.
