RICK RUDE'S ACT OF RESPECT FOR BRET HART, WHAT HAPPENED TO THE PLANNED STONE COLD BEER, CODY'S MUSTACHE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-12-21 10:00:00
In his WWE Hall of Fame speech, Bret Hart talks about never forgetting what Rick Rude did for him - so what did he do?

After Bret Hart was screwed in Montreal, Rude quit WWF and jumped to WCW, appearing on a live Nitro on the same night he was on a taped Raw. Rude walked out of the company in protest for what they did to Bret, walking away from an agreed verbal deal with WWF management.

Cody Rhodes' moustache - why? I recall him growing it during Movember. Is this the case and Creative decided to have him keep it or was he always going to have it?

Obviously, it was kept to give him a different look and dimension. Given the reactions it has gotten from live crowds so far, it was a good call.

What's happening with Scott Hall? Been off the radar for a bit.

Hall is still in Florida and dealing with his health issues. Off the radar may be a good thing in this case.

Was always interested to know if HBK has quit everything entirely or is he at a stage where he can take a painkiller or have a drink occasionally?

I don't know about the painkillers but I can't see why he wouldn't have a drink from time to time. He's never claimed to be straightedge, just born again.

Is it true that back in the day Stone Cold did have his own signature beer, even if for a short while or have I received the wrong info?

Wrong info. There were plans to license a WWF beer using Austin's insignia and name but they never got out of the planning phases and it was never sold.
