This week, we are in Winter Park, Florida and your announcers are William ‘THE Announcer for WWE’ Regal and Todd ‘My week on the rotation’ Phillips.
Match Number One: Paige versus Sasha Banks
They circle each other before locking up and Sasha with a clean break but Paige pushes her. Paige with a waist lock and Sasha with a standing switch. Paige with a front face lock and then he takes Sasha down with a head scissors. Paige adds pressure and rolls Sasha around while staying in the head scissors. Sasha escapes and she takes Paige down with an arm drag and a Japanese arm drag.
Paige with a near fall. Sasha with a chop and she uses the ropes for an arm drag and gets a near fall. Paige screams and pulls Sasha around by her hair and tosses her to the mat. Paige with boots to the chest in the corner and then she pulls Sasha into the center of the ring and gets a near fall. Paige with a fisherman’s suplex and bridge for a near fall.
Paige with a double overhook but Sasha gets back to her feet. Sasha with a victory roll for a near fall. Sasha with another near fall on a rollup. Sasha pulls Paige around by the hair and sends Paige to the mat. Paige with a back heel kick and hits the Paige Turner for the three count.
Winner: Paige
We go to the back and Tony Luftman is with Roman Reigns. Roman wants to know if we are supposed to operate on his time. He wants to know what Tony did today. Roman says that it is all about his time and his schedule. Roman says that he should be honored to be in his presence.
Roman takes a phone call and leaves.
We take a look at the end of the Tyson Kidd/Leo Kruger match and Kassius Ohno’s attack on Kidd after the match. We see Regal helping Kidd after the attack.
Kassius Ohno and Leo Kruger are in the back and Kassius mentions Richie Steamboat, Trent Barreta, and Tyson Kidd. Three superstars who had the audacity to cross them and three superstars in need of intensive care.
Leo mentions that was three trophies and there will be more.
Ohno says that he expected more from William Regal. Ohno says that if Regal sticks his nose in their business, he will see Regal in the ICU.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Bray Wyatt says that love makes him powerful. It makes allows him to stay immortal. He figured it out a long time ago. He says that he knows power. He wants everyone to share this sensation with him. He introduces Oliver to his opponent . . . his son, Erick Rowan.
Erick Rowan brings a rocking chair onto the stage for Wyatt.
Match Number Two: Oliver Gray versus Erick Rowan
Gray avoids Rowan but Rowan with a big boot to the head. Rowan sends Gray into the turnbuckles a few times and then he sends Gray to the mat. Rowan with a boot to the head. Rowan with a forearm and then he connects with a head butt. Rowan with a slam with a little extra and then Rowan with a boot to the back.
Gray with punches but they have no effect. Rowan with a forearm to the head followed by a bear hug and Irish whip and splash. Rowan with a side slam for the three count.
Winner: Erick Rowan
After the match, Bray introduces the second son and his name is Rowan.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Dusty Rhodes makes his way into the arena. He wants to address a little State of the Union. In a few moments, we will have a great main event when Seth Rollins defends the NXT Title against Jinder Mahal.
He wants to bring up Vickie Guerrero. Vickie is welcome in NXT at any time. She will not make any decisions as long as he is on the watch. Dusty mentions that the NFL said that there were no bounties so Vickie Guerrero cannot announce any fines unless she runs it by him.
Camacho comes out and he interrupts Dusty’s comments. Camacho tells Dusty that there is still a bounty.
Dusty corrects Camacho on the way to address him and Dusty likes El Capitan. Camacho says that he needs the money because Hunico is stuck in Mexico. If the bounty is erased, he will reopen it on Dusty.
Big E Langston comes out and Dusty has an idea. Next week, Camacho gets a partner to face Langston in a handicap match.
Big Show had a message for NXT. He tells everyone not to be shocked. He says that he is watching that long haired little dweeb making a challenge to anyone. Show says that he will accept that challenge and he will knock him out just like he did to John Cena, Randy Orton and Sheamus. The best favor he can do is make sure that kid doesn’t get any further.
We go to commercial with Jinder Mahal and Seth Rollins walking in the back.
We are back and Jim Ross has joined William Regal at the announce table.
Match Number Three: Jinder Mahal versus Seth Rollins for the NXT Title
Rollins goes after Mahal as soon as the bell rings but Mahal gets to the floor. The referee starts the count for the man from the Three Man Band. Mahal takes his time getting back into the ring and they lock up to a stalemate. Rollins with a hammer lock and Mahal gets to the ropes. The referee holds Rollins back from Mahal.
Mahal with a wrist lock but Rollins with a reversal and side head lock and take down. Mahal gets a near fall with a rollup. Mahal tries for an Irish whip to get out of the hold but Rollins holds on to the head lock. Mahal with an escape and shoulder tackle. Rollins with a punch and chop to Mahal.
Rollins puts Mahal in the corner and he connects with punches and chops followed by a few kicks. Mahal with a punch and Jinder goes to the floor. Rollins follows and he grabs Jinder’s ankle. Rollins with a chop on the floor.
They return to the floor and Rollins with kicks to the chest. Mahal with a kick to Rollins but Rollins with a clothesline or two. Rollins with an Irish whip but Mahal sends Rollins to the apron. Rollins tries for a springboard move but Mahal pushes Rollins off the ropes and to the floor.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Mahal is choking Rollins in the ropes until the referee warns Maal. Mahal with knee drops to the upper chest and he chokes Rollins again. Rollins with punches to Mahal but Mahal with a knee and hard Irish whip to continue to work on the back. Mahal with a bow and arrow using the ring post.
Mahal with a suplex on the floor and he sends Rollins back into the ring. Mahal gets a near fall. Mahal traps the arms and then he stretches Rollins. Rollins gets to his feet but Mahal pulls Rollins down by the hair. Mahal with a back breaker for a near fall. Mahal chokes Rollins in the ropes. Rollins with chops to Mahal but Mahal with a knee to the midsection and Mahal gets a near fall.
Mahal with a rear chin lock. Mahal with a leaping knee drop and he gets a near fall. Rollins with punches to the midsection and Rollins with a head scissors and back body drop. Rollins punches Mahal in the head. Mahal with an Irish whip but Rollins floats over. Mahal puts Rollins on the top rope in an uncomfortable position and Mahal gets a near fall.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Mahal with a rear chin lock and he turns it into a reverse chin lock. Rollins gets back to his feet and he punches Mahal but Mahal with a knee. Rollins with an enzuigiri and both men are down. Both men struggle to get back into their feet. Rollins moves when Mahal charges into the corner. Rollins with a drop kick and then he punches Mahal.
Mahal and Rollins exchange punches and forearms with Rollins. Mahal with a head butt but Rollins with a kick to the chest. Rollins with more punches. Mahal with a kick but Rollins clotheslines Mahal over the top rope to the floor and Rollins with a suicide dive onto Mahal.
Rollins goes up top and connects with a knee to the head and he gets a near fall. Rollins sends Mahal into the turnbuckles and puts him on top. Rollins with an enzuigiri. Rollins with a super rana but Mahal rolls through and gets a near fall. Rollins with a back heel kick but Rollins with a slam and he gets a near fall.
Mahal goes to the turnbuckles and he is met with a drop kick from Rollins because Mahal takes too much time on the turnbuckles. Both men are down. Rollins pulls himself up and sets for the running forearm into the corner but Mahal moves and Rollins hits the turnbuckles and ring post. Mahal with kicks to Rollins’ ribs and then he slaps Rollins in the corner. Rollins grabs Mahal and hits a buckle bomb.
Rollins tries for Avada Kedavra but Mahal blocks it. Mahal kicks Rollins in the knee and he tries for the camel clutch but Rollins gets to the ropes. Rollins pulls himself up from the ropes. Mahal with a rollup but Rollins with Avada Kedavra and hits the Sky Walker for the three count.
Winner: Seth Rollins
After the match, Corey Graves is in the front row and he applauds Rollins’ victory and they have a stare down as we go to credits.
