Kane tells Daniel that he am the Tag Team Champions and he tells Bryan to stay out of his way.
Daniel and Kane have a duck season/rabbit season yes/no argument over being the Tag Team Champions. Daniel storms away in disgust.
We return to Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida for the latest episode of NXT. Your announcers are Jim ‘Buddy Jack is with Bam Bam’ Ross and Tom ‘Tom’ Phillips.
We see footage from last week when Trent Barreta was left laying on the floor and the shot of Leo Kruger in the foreground.
Match Number One: Trent Barreta versus Leo Kruger
Kruger squats in the corner and waits for the bell, but Trent attacks Leo before the bell. Trent with chops to Kruger. Kruger with a kick but Trent with a flying clothesline and a running back elbow. Trent goes up top but Kruger pulls Trent off the turnbuckles and Trent falls on his injured ribs and falls to the mat.
Leo with shots to the ribs and then he removes the bandage from around Trent’s midsection. Leo with a back breaker. Kruger with forearms and punches to the ribs. Kruger with an abdominal stretch on Trent and he has something to say to Trent. Leo with a maniacal laugh as he continues to work on the ribs.
Kruger returns to the abdominal stretch and he puts his elbow on the ribs and then he punches Trent in the ribs. Kruger releases the hold and then he drops Trent across the top rope and Trent continues to writhe in pain.
Kruger with a clothesline into the corner and then he goes to the turnbuckles. Kruger comes off the turnbuckles and Trent counters with a drop kick and he gets a near fall. Trent with a forearm and chop but Kruger with a shot to the midsection to stop Trent. Trent with boots to Kruger from the corner and he gets a near fall. Trent with the double jump back elbow but Kruger sends Trent into the air and Trent lands on his ribs. Trent with the Kruger End for the three count.
Winner: Leo Kruger

Match Number Two: Xavier Woods versus Memo Montenegro
Woods does some dancing before locking up and Woods with a side head lock and take down. Memo gets back to his feet but Woods takes Memo back to the mat. Memo with an escape and a shoulder. Memo runs into a back elbow from Woods. Xavier with a side head lock take down.
Woods with another side head lock take down and he continues to work on the neck. Memo with punches but Woods with punches of his own. Woods blocks a hip toss and then he hits a drop kick to the chest. Woods with the somersault head spring into a clothesline for the three count.
Winner: Xavier Woods
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three:Audrey Marie versus Emma
They lock up and Audrey with a side head lock but Emma stomps on the foot. Audrey with a cartwheel followed by a drop kick for a near fall. Audrey tries for a double leg take down but Emma blocks it. Audrey with a waist lock take down and then she applies a body scissors. Audrey rolls over and gets a near fall.
Audrey pulls Emma by the hair but Emma leans back to get a near fall. Audrey holds on to the body scissors and rolls Emma around the ring and gets a near fall. Emma with a double leg take down and she gets a near fall with a jackknife cover. Emma with a cross body for a near fall. Emma with a back slide for a near fall.
Audrey with a uranage for the three count.
Winner:Audrey Marie
Tony Dawson is in the back and he is supposed to be with Roman Reigns, but he has a press release from Roman Reigns. Roman has taken a Reigns check on the interview. Many companies are in a bidding war for endorsements and that is more important than the interview.
We go to commercial.
We are back and Michael Cole makes his way to the ring to conduct the interview between the NXT Champion Seth Rollins and the number one contender Jinder Mahal.
Michael says that he is excited to be back at NXT. From what he has seen, this is the proving ground of the next generation of WWE Superstars.
Michael says that he is proud to moderate the face to face confrontation between the men who will meet in two weeks for the NXT Title. Michael brings out the number one contender first and Jinder Mahal makes his way to the ring. Out next is the current NXT Heavyweight Champion, Seth Rollins.
Michael asks Seth about the sneak attack . . .
Jinder says that was no attack, it was a message that he sent loud and clear.
Seth says that it was a cowardly attack by a desperate man. That is the only way that Jinder can do it. Everyone knows that Jinder cannot beat him.
Jinder calls Seth’s title win a fluke. He calls Seth a born loser. He is the Maharajah and he has been born to be a champion. He is the supreme superstar. In two weeks, he will personally humble Seth in the middle of the ring.
Seth tells Jinder that somewhere in that nonsensical diatribe there was some fact. Jinder said that Seth is just like everyone in this arena. Jinder interrupts and says that Seth is a loser, just like everyone else.
Seth says that he is just like these people. They are one mind, one spirit, and one blood. They have one other thing in common. They will never be anything like Jinder Mahal. Seth says that he doesn’t like to say that he is better than people, but he will make an exception. Jinder feels like he is owed something. Seth says that he is better than Jinder Mahal and Jinder does not have the heart of a champion. Seth says that he is ready for a fight right now.
Michael tries to stop them and reminds them that they have their match in two weeks. Michael asks Jinder what makes him think that he can beat Seth Rollins after Seth beat him in the ring.
Jinder says that this is typical of the American media. He will not put up with Michael trying to embarrass him.
Seth pushes Mahal but Mahal punches Rollins and kicks him. Mahal kicks Rollins in the midsection and applies the camel clutch. Officials come to the ring and pull Mahal off of Rollins. Mahal holds the title up and then drops it on Rollins before leaving the ring.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Four: Daniel Bryan and Kane versus Michael McGillicutty and Johnny Curtis for the WWE Tag Team Title
Michael and Bryan start things off and they lock up. Michael with an arm drag and he celebrates. They lock up again and Michael with a side head lock and shoulder tackle. Bryan with an arm drag and he refuses to tag in Kane. Michael with a forearm to the back and Johnny tags in.
Bryan with a drop toe hold and a front face lock but Kane tags in. Curtis with shoulders but Kane with a forearm and Kane sends Curtis shoulder first into the turnbuckles. Kane refuses to tag in Bryan. Michael tags back in and Kane with an Irish whip but Michael with an elbow. Michael comes off the turnbuckles but he is met with an uppercut. Kane clotheslines Michael over the top rope to the floor.
Curtis tries to attack Kane but Kane stops him. Bryan with a knee off the apron and Bryan is now the legal man in the match and Bryan gets a near fall. Bryan works on the arm but Bryan is sent to the floor. Curtis misses an attack from the apron but Michael with a kick to send Bryan to the floor. Curtis kicks Bryan and Michael rolls him back in and gets a near fall.
Michael with punches to Bryan and he rubs his forearm across Bryan’s face. Curtis tags in and he hits a reverse atomic drop and Michael with a clothesline to the back of the head and Curtis gets a near fall. Curtis with a European uppercut and then he stretches Bryan.
Curtis with a knee and then he tags Michael back in. Michael with a punch to the midsection followed by a standing drop kick. Curtis tags back in and he kicks Bryan. Curtis with a hard Irish whip and he gets a near fall. Curtis with a reverse chin lock on Bryan. Bryan with elbows but Curtis with punches.
Bryan and Curtis both go for clotheslines and they both go down. Michael and Kane tag in and Kane with an uppercut and boot. Kane with Irish whips and clotheslines into the corner followed by a side slam. Kane with a punch to Curtis to knock him off the apron and Kane goes up top for the clothesline.
Kane sets for the choke slam but Bryan makes the blind tag. Bryan and Kane argue while McGillicutty tries for an O’Connor Roll. Bryan rolls through and gets a near fall. Kane grabs Michael and Daniel by the throat for choke slams but Curtis hits Kane from behind. Kane with a choke slam to Curtis and Bryan applies the No Lock and Michael taps out.
Winners: Daniel Bryan and Kane
After the match, Kane and Bryan argue despite successfully retaining the title. Kane wants a hug and Bryan is not sure. Bryan moves in for the hug and they embrace. They still claim to be the Tag Team Champions as we go to credits.
