WWE BUYING THQ, MACHO MAN THE BASEBALL PLAYER, SENDING IN REPORTS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-11-23 10:00:00
If the year ends and Sarita doesn't return to TNA can one assume she is no longer with TNA? It was reported that she had signed a two year contract with the company. Its been more than two years for sure. She didn't take part in the womens battle royal. Is Sarita still with TNA? Please don't say that they (TNA) don't have anything for her.

I think it's safe to say she's gone when she goes somewhere else. Until then, unless one side discusses the situation, we have to assume.

I read once where the late Randy Macho Man Savage (Poffo) either tried out for or was once a member of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Was this true?

Yes and no. He was on their minor league team, but he did indeed work for the Cardinals organization.

WITH THE FINANCIAL TROUBLES THAT THQ IS GOING THROUGH , DO YOU THINK IT WOULD BE A WIN-WIN SITUATION FOR WWE AND THQ IF WWE PURCHASED THEM? THQ COULD CONTINUE DOING WHAT THEY DO WITH FINANCIAL BACKING FROM WWE AND WWE COULD ADD ANOTHER ENTERTAINMENT MEDIA TO THE COMPANY.

If WWE wanted to run a videogame company, sure. However, they would be making a mistake. THQ has had a lot of issues financially, so WWE would have to be responsible for that debt as well as any existing contracts. They would also cannibalize the royalties and payments that come with the WWE videogame license. I don't see this one happening.

If someone were to attend a show promoted by either WWE, ROH or TNA and wanted to send a detailed account of the event would you be willing to accept it for viewing? What is your policy toward such a venture? Not a pay per view necessarily but a normal wrestling show.

I would tell them to go ahead and send in a live report, as long as it wasn't going to ruin their enjoyment of the show.

Whatever happened to former ECW star Sandman? Is he still wrestling?

He still lives in the Pennsylvania area and continues to make appearances, most recently at the Extreme Rising iPPV debut.
