EVOLVE announced that their event at Wrestlecon over Wrestlemania weekend will be a tournament to crown the first EVOLVE champion. The idea is that the wrestlers with the best won/loss records will end up competing in the tournament, since the crux of the storylines in the promotion have always revolved around the w/l records. So, the idea is that going into those shows, everyone needs to be on their toes to improve and maintain their records.
The feeling within DGUSA is that it's a matter of time before Sami Callihan is signed.
EVOLVE also announced the release of the EVOLVE 11 DVD featuring Sami Callihan vs. Dave Finlay in the main event, which was the Toronto rematch from one of the best hard hitting independent wrestling bouts of the year. The DVD also features:
