WWE STUDIOS TO PARTNER IN FRENCH FILM, FIRST STUDIOS FILM TO FEATURE WWE SETTING AND STARS

Variety reported today that WWE Studios has partnered with Kare Productions on the French film "Les Reines du ring" (Queen of the Ring), telling the story of a mother who tries to become closer to her son by training to become a WWE Diva.

WWE champion CM Punk, Eve Torres and The Miz filmed scenes for the film during the company's overseas tour.

As part of the deal, WWE Studios will be granted the chance to acquire the film for American distribution.
