There are a lot of very tired wrestlers following the tour. To a person, they are all looking forward to getting through TV and having a few days' rest before they go back on the road this weekend for the PPV.
There's a lot of concerns about releases obviously, since it's about that time of the year. Several bios were removed from WWE.com, although we haven't confirmed if these were just storyline related since it was Tyler Reks and Curt Hawkins removed as well as some NXT personalities. However, as one top star said to me, if you weren't on Wrestlemania or the European tour, there's cause for concern to be sure.
While he is dealing with his injury, Justin Gabriel returned home to South Africa to renew his working visa.
Mick Foley's new children's book, which features The Miz and CM Punk as characters in a Christmas setting, will be released this October. Jerry Lawler, who handled the artwork for Foley's Christmas Chaos book years ago, will once again be providing the illustrations here.
Foley's comedy show will be doing dates on 5/3 in Columbus, Ohio at Wooland Tavern and 5/4 in Cleveland, Ohio at Grog Shop. Rev. Bob Levy is also performing. I caught Foley's show a few months back in NYC and thought that it was fun with Foley using pro wrestling at his metaphors for politics and other stories about life.
