REACTION TO HULK HOGAN'S WAY TO TURN AROUND TNA, DID I REALLY SEE WWE DO THAT, WHERE ARE THEY NOW AND MORE

By Dave Scherer on 2012-04-22 12:17:31
I heard from a few people in TNA that were really frustrated by Hulk Hogan's statement yesterday that taking Impact live would solve 75% of the company's issues.  They see it as yet another ridiculous statement made by someone who is out of touch with what the company needs to do, yet has a lot of say in the direction of the company.  The feeling is that while live shows would be great, the company has much bigger issues to deal with (such as reliance on Hogan himself, the inability to book things properly and the pushing of friends and family over actual talented wrestlers). Given how numbers have dropped since Hulk Hogan replaced Sting and Garett and Eric Bischoff have become a focal point of the show, it's hard to argue with them.   And that doesn't take into account the cost involved with going live weekly, which TNA has shown at this time they can't recoup.

Speaking of bad ideas that won't change the direction of the product around, did I really see Brodus Clay have Hornswoggle come out as his little brother on Smackdown?  Nothing says "take this guy seriously" like pairing him with Horny.  Ugh.
