The former ECW Arena has now been completely stripped down to its outside walls. All of the old stages, balconies, bathrooms, etc. have been destroyed and ripped out.

Construction of the new configuration of the building is now underway, turning the facility into a concert hall that will hold upwards of 3,000.

There remains no word on professional wrestling returning to the venue when it opens in the Fall of 2012. The belief when the venue closed out with CZW and EVOLVE events was that the rent of the re-designed facility would be too high for independent promotions to make any money running.
