JOHNNY GARGANO INJURY UPDATE

DGUSA Open the Freedom Gate champion Johnny Gargano was taken to a hospital via ambulance last night following his match against Ricochet. The word was Gargano was kept overnight due to an injury but it wasn't exactly clear what that injury was. He was released this morning and flew home to Ohio.

Gargano took a long time to get up after winning his bout last night and was walked to the backstage area by the Commission doctor and EVOLVE officials after the match. Gargano was treated in the back and was laid down until EMTS arrived to take him to the hospital right after the close of the show.

As soon as we have an update on the nature of the injury and Gargano's status, we'll let you know.
