THE RAREST AND MOST EXPENSIVE WWE DVD, WHY WWE FEELS THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH THE PRODUCT THEY HAVE AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2012-01-12 10:05:57
Why does WWE continue to do silly things like Monday's horror movie sketch to close Raw? It's not wrestling!

No, and they will tell you that THEY are not wrestling. They consider themselves sports-entertainment, thus, they can do whatever they want.

I was wondering what the rarest and most expensive DVD to collect is?

Within pro wrestling, my guess is the WWE Raw Homecoming DVD, which was the first episode of the series back on the USA Network. WWE packaged it as an extra for a Wrestlemania DVD as a Wal-Mart exclusive for a short run. I've never seen it priced lower than $130 or so in resale outlets and often much higher. There's also an FYE exclusive version of a Trish Stratus DVD that is very hard to find apparently.

How many ECW DVDs were there?

If you mean the original company, Pioneer Home Video released 12 DVDS:

Extreme Evolution
Path of Destruction
Deep Impact
Barely Legal
Heat Wave 1998
Hardcore History
Best of Cactus Jack
Best of the Dudley Boyz
Anarchy Rulz 1999
Guilty as Charged 2001
Wrestlepalooza 1997
Cyberslam 1999

Written but not produced or released due to Pioneer shutting down their Sports Division were Best of Taz and Best of Rob Van Dam. There would have been at least two other compilations planned as well.

Any update on Layla?

Layla is down in developmental getting herself ready for a TV return in January.

Whatever happened to Michelle McCool? Is she coming back with Undertaker?

McCool is retired. If you mean whether they will return in a storyline sense together, no. Whether she decides to do some work while he is back, that's a possibility.

How old are you?

Too old to know better. You?
