1903 - Alexander Swanson defeats Harvey Parker in New York City, New York to win the World Welterweight Title.

1942 - Ed "Strangler" Lewis defeats Orville Brown to win the Ohio version of the Midwest Wrestling Association World Heavyweight Title in Columbus, Ohio.

1942 - John Katan defeats Earl McCready for the Toronto British Empire Heavyweight Title in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, ending and beginning their respective second reigns.

1943 - Swedish Angel defeats Orville Brown to win the Kansas City version of the MWA World Heavyweight Title in Kansas City, Kansas, ending Brown's fifth reign.

1952 - Leo Jensen defeats Bonnie Muir for the vacant Australian Heavyweight Title in Sydney, Australia. The title had been vacant since champion Fred Atkins left the country in 1949.

1959 - Dory Funk, Sr. defeats Antoine Leone in Amarillo, Texas to win the Amarillo version of the NWA North American Heavyweight Title for the seventh time.

1960 - In San Bernadino, California, Stan Holek and The Preacher defeat Sandor Szabo and Edouard Carpentier for the NWA International Television Tag Team Title.

1962 - Eric Pomeroy and Ray Andrews defeat The Medics for the NWA Southern Tag Team Title in Memphis, Tennessee, ending The Medics' third reign.

1963 - Ciclon Negro and Masked Terror defeat Wilbur Snyder and Dick the Bruiser to win the American Wrestling Alliance World Tag Team Title.

1963 - Joe Blanchard defeats Billy White Wolf for the NWA Texas Heavyweight Title in Dallas, Texas.

1965 - Bobby Fields wins his third NWA Louisiana Heavyweight Title by defeating Danny McShain in Lafayette, Louisiana.

1966 - Michiaki Yoshimura and Kintaro Ohki defeat Eddie Morea and Tarzan Zorro to win the vacant All Asia Tag Team Title in Tokyo, Japan.

1967 - El Goliath defeats Henry Pirousso for the Mexican National Heavyweight Title in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico.

1970 - Gene Kiniski defeats Giant Baba for the NWA International Heavyweight Title in Osaka, Japan, ending Baba's second reign.

1971 - Dr. X (Jim Osborne) defeats Ramon Torres in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma for the NWA World Junior Heavyweight Title.

1975 - The Destroyer (Dick Beyer) defeats Abdullah the Butcher to win the Pacific Wrestling Federation United States Heavyweight Title in Kiryu, Japan.

1976 - Chavo Guerrero, Sr. defeats Dr. Hiro Ota to win the NWA America Heavyweight Title for the sixth time.

1976 - The Wrestling Pro defeats Ken Lucas for the NWA Gulf Coast Heavyweight Title in Ozark, Alabama. This ended Lucas' ninth reign and began The Pro's sixth.

1976 - In Dothan, Alabama, Rip Tyler wins his second NWA Alabama Heavyweight Title, ending the eighth reign of Dick Dunn.

1977 - Billy Spears defeats Johnny Eagles for the NWA Alabama Heavyweight Title in New Brocton, Alabama.

1982 - Mad Dog Lafaib defeats Invader I to win the WWC North American Heavyweight Title in Ponce, Puerto Rico.

1983 - Dick Slater defeats Rufus R. Jones to win the NWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title in Hampton, Virginia.

1983 - Bob Armstrong wins a tournament for the vacant NWA Southeastern Heavyweight Title in Dothan, Alabama.

1984 - Ted DiBiase and Hercules Hernandez defeat The Rock 'n' Roll Express (Ricky Morton and Robert Gibson) to win the Mid-South Tag Team Title in New Orleans, Louisiana.

1984 - The Interns (Don Bass and Roger Smith) defeat The Fabulous Ones (Steve Keirn and Stan Lane) to win the AWA Southern Tag Team Title in Memphis, Tennessee, ending Keirn and Lane's eighth reign.

1985 - Fuerza Guerrera defeats El Dandy for the Mexican National Welterweight Title.

1989 - Sangre Chicana defeats Perry Aguayo to win the Universal Wrestling Association-promoted WWF World Light Heavyweight Title, ending Aguayo's seventh reign and beginning Chicana's second.

1990 - Steve Doll and Scotty the Body (Raven) defeat The Wrecking Crew (The Grappler and The Equalizer) for the NWA Pacific Northwest Tag Team Title in Coos Bay, Oregon.

1991 - The WWF holds its This Tuesday in Texas pay-per-view at the Freeman Coliseum in San Antonio, Texas. The results:
In pre-broadcast matches:
- The Harris Brothers (Ron and Don Harris) defeated Brian Donahue and Brian Costello.
- Sir Charles (The Godfather) pinned Dale Wolfe.
- Chris Walker pinned Brian Lee.
- Chris Chavis (Tatanka) pinned J.W. Storm (WCW's Maxx Muscle).
- Ric Flair pinned Roddy Piper.
Pay-per-view matches:
- Randy Savage pinned Jake Roberts. Following the match, Roberts beat down Savage, then forced Miss Elizabeth to beg him to stop the beating. When apparently dissatisfied with her, Roberts grabbed her by the hair and slapped her across her face.
- Davey Boy Smith pinned The Warlord.
- Ted DiBiase and Repo Man defeated Tito Santana and Virgil when DiBiase pinned Virgil.
- Hulk Hogan pinned The Undertaker, after throwing ashes from Paul Bearer's urn into Undertaker's eyes, to win the WWF World Title. WWF President Jack Tunney made an announcement, airing on the December 7 edition of WWF Superstars, that the title was vacated and would go to the winner of the following month's Royal Rumble match, due to two disputed finishes (at Tuesday in Texas and the previous week's Survivor Series).

1992 - Jesse Barr and Ryuma Go win the Championship Wrestling USA International Tag Team Title in Funabashi, Japan, defeating The Bruise Brothers (Ron and Don Harris).

1993 - Mitsuharu Misawa and Kenta Kobashi win the annual Real World Tag League to win the AJPW World Tag Team Championship.

1995 - Ronnie Roberts defeats Boogie Woogie Brown to win the ECWA Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Title in Wilmington, Delaware.

1998 - King Kong Bundy defeats Romeo Valentino for the Maryland Championship Wrestling Heavyweight Title in Denton, Maryland.

1998 - Logan Caine defeats TNT for the NWA West Virginia/Ohio Junior Heavyweight Title in Coshocton, Ohio.

1999 - Mr. Meaner defeats Skull Ganz to win the NWA Michigan Heavyweight Title in Gibraltar, Michigan.

2000 - ECW held what would be the next-to-last pay-per-view event for the promotion, Massacre on 34th Street, at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City, New York. The results were:

- New Jack defeated Angel.
- H.C. Loc defeated Danny Daniels.
In broadcast matches:
- Joey Matthews and Christian York defeated Simon Diamond and Johnny Swinger when York pinned Swinger after a Splash.
- E.Z. Money pinned Balls Mahoney.
- Nova pinned Julio Dinero after a Flying Crossbody.
- Danny Doring and Roadkill defeated The Full Blooded Italians (Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke) to win the ECW World Tag Team Title when Doring pinned Guido after a Hart Attack.
- C.W. Anderson pinned Tommy Dreamer after a Spinebuster through a table.
- Rhino pinned Spike Dudley to retain the ECW World Television Title after three chair shots.
- The Unholy Alliance (Yoshihiro Tajiri and Mikey Whipwreck) defeated Super Crazy and Kid Kash when Tajiri pinned Crazy after a Diving Double Foot Stomp with three steel chairs and a table on top of Crazy.
- Steve Corino defeated Jerry Lynn and Justin Credible in a Three-Way Dance to retain the ECW World Heavyweight Title. Credible pinned Lynn after That's Incredible and Corino pinned Credible after the Old School Expulsion.

2000 - All three ARSION titles change hands in Tokyo, Japan. Ayako Hamada defeats Aja Kong for the Queen of ARSION Title, Etsuko Mita and Mima Shimoda defeat GAMI and Rie Tamada to win the Twin Star of ARSION Title, and AKINO defeats Chaparita Asari for the Sky High of ARSION Title.

2001 - Loco Max defeats Ricky Marvin to win the Mexican National Lightweight Title in Puebla, Mexico.

2003 - Eagle Sawai and Amazing Kong defeat Shinobu Kandori and Takako Inoue in a tournament final to become the first Ladies' Legend Pro Wrestling Tag Team Champions in Tokyo, Japan.

2004 - Cody Mantell defeats Bitty Little to win the NWA New South Cruiserweight Title in Greenville, Mississippi.

2005 - The S.A.T. (Jose and Joel Maximo) defeat The Backseat Boyz (Trent Acid and Johnny Kashmere) to win the JAPW Tag Team Title in Rahway, New Jersey, ending The Backseats' second reign.

2005 - Joey Ryan defeats Kevin Steen for the Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Heavyweight Title in Los Angeles, California.

2005 - Tommie Smallz defeats Unholy Grail for the NWA Virginia Junior Heavyweight Title in Sugar Grove, Virginia, ending Unholy Grail's second reign.

2005 - Two NWA Wisconsin titles change hands in Marinette, Wisconsin: Jack Berzerker and Tommy Courageous defeat Spanish Stew to win the NWA Wisconsin Tag Team Title and Ruff Ryder Rashaan defeats Dredd for the NWA Wisconsin X Division Title.
