Savinovich noted that there have been rumors as to why fans haven’t seen him in a while on TV (he missed the last PPV) but he was waiting for WWE to make an official announcement on their end. Being a professional that’s what he wanted to do.
Savinovich noted that spent so many years with WWE - 14 years this last run but 5 years prior to that. He said he publically wanted to thank the kindness of the McMahon family, naming Vince, Linda, Stephanie and Shane, then named a bunch of office people who he said have treated him wonderfully.
Hugo said that a few weeks ago he was notified that his presence on WWE programming would be coming to an end. It was WWE’s decision and he respects that decision,
Savinovich said he was sad but wanted to personally thank Vince McMahon for the second opportunity Vince gave him 14 years ago after his initial opportunity there, noting he had started doing drugs, was jailed and involved in bad things, which led to his first departure. However, he accepted Christ and Vince gave him a second chance. Hugo said he'd never forget his years at WWE, especially working that first year at Vince’s mansion helping him write shows.
Hugo mentioned different memories, including the New Year's Revolution PPV in Puerto Rico, all the world tours and feels they (He and WWE) accomplished a lot.
He also mentioned his different relationships with wrestlers, including when Eddy Guerrero accepted Christ and that he used to pray with him, as he did with Shawn Michaels. He noted that when any of the wrestlers had a problem, they could always count on him to talk with them noting Mark Henry, Batista and Ezekiel Jackson by name.
Savinovich noted that he'd be opening up a website soon in regards to his religious faith. He prays that God leads him in the right direction, whether it’s staying in wrestling or working in the evangelist ministries. He can’t thank the fans enough for the kind comments they’re giving him. He thinks he’s helped inspire other Spanish announcers and is grateful for the opportunities he’s had. He's also working on a book about his religious faith.
The video ends with a prayer and then with a classic Hugo match call.
