MELINA AND KIM IN TNA, SHOOTER DANIEL BRYAN, TNA BRINGING IN AND DROPPING NEW STARS AND MORE

By Mike Johnson on 2011-08-26 10:00:00
Do you see former WWE star Melina being courted by TNA? Has TNA showed any interest in signing her? Does Melina have a bad reputation behind the scenes as some have claimed leading to speculation that she isn't worth the trouble?

Once Melina's 90 days are up, I can absolutely see TNA having interest in her, but until then all is quiet on that front. Melina absolutely left WWE with some bad blood, but I don't think that will preclude TNA from making an offer.

Is Gail Kim still with WWE? If not is she under a 90 day no compete clause? When do you expect Gail Kim to join TNA (Impact Wrestling)?

Kim is still under contract. She walked out and WWE is opting not to release her from her deal, which means that until it expires, they are bound to pay Kim her downside guarantee. Until then, TNA can't make her an offer.

I was surprised to read where Generation Me was given A WWE tryout. I knew they were with TNA at one time. Why did TNA let them go? They were a very exciting tag team. Don't tell me TNA didn't have anything for them?

As we reported here on the site, Generation Me asked for their releases, not being happy with how they were used by the company. TNA granted the releases.

Is it just me, or does TNA's revolving door roster make the whole promotion seem kinda bush league? I mean, I don't even watch because the wrestlers I wanna see aren't even on anymore, I started watching with EV2.0, but two weeks later? Bam! Gone. Wouldn't some consistency help out with their numbers?

I can't argue with you in the least. TNA often brings in talent who are then de-emphasized and dropped within weeks. I've never understood why they would bothering bringing in said talents in the first place.

I've appreciated Daniel Bryan use of both the Lebel Lock and Guillotine choke as of late. What do you think of giving him the "gimmick" where he as a submission for every appendage? Lebel Lock for the arm/shoulder, Guillotine for the head, something for the body/torso, and another for the legs/ankles. It would make his character seem incredibly dangerous from the standpoint that he can beat you no matter whats near by.

I love the idea. Danielson's background in MMA training and in training at the Inoki Dojo would lend itself to such an idea.
