JOHN CENA RIPS THE ROCK - 7/3 RAW BRAND RESULTS FROM PERTH, AUSTRALIA

Crowd: Much smaller than previous shows. The entire upper sections were curtained off. I was in the cheap seats and was moved to a much better seat. All up I'd say the venue was only 40-50% full. The crowd was dead for much of the night.

Results:

Justin Roberts announced that CM Punk was suspended from TV but would be appearing at live events. CM Punk came out and cut a promo. Before coming down the ramp he walked over to the technicians desk on the side of the stage and slapped the headphones off of one of the guys at the desk.

Match 1: Rey Mysterio defeated CM Punk.

Match 2: Kelly Kelly & Beth Phoenix defeated The Bella Twins. Scheduled to be Kelly Kelly vs. one of the Bellas, but The Bellas attacked Kelly before the match. Beth Phoenix ran out and made the save (complete with entrance music and spotlight). The Anonymous GM made it a tag match.

Match 3: Zack Ryder defeated Primo. Ryder got a pretty good response from the crowd.

Match 4: Evan Bourne defeated Jack Swagger. In my section there was one guy screaming "Lets go Swagger" and a bunch of little kids responding "Swagger Sucks". The Swagger fan reminded me of the Super Dragon fan (google it if you haven't seen it)

Match 5. Dolph Ziggler defeated Kofi Kingston. After the match, Kingston hit Ziggler with the Trouble in Paradise.

Kelly Kelly and Justin Roberts hosted a fan dance off for the chance to meet a Superstar of their choice. A little boy won and chose to meet John Cena backstage.

Intermission

Match 6: WWE Tag Team Champions Michael McGillicutty & David Otunga defeated Santino Marella & Vladimir Kozlov. Santino was hilarious. He had the cobra ready to strike but when his intended victim slid out of the ring he walked over to Kozlov for help taming his cobra. Later on when he was trying to get back to make a tag, he was being held by one leg. He started to make swimming movements with his arms.

The Miz came out to cut a promo. According to the Miz, Perth sucks... he has a point. Alex Riley ran out and attacked him. The Anonymous GM booked a street fight.

Match 7: Alex Riley defeated The Miz after spearing him through a table.

R-Truth came out and cut a promo.

Match 8: WWE Champion John Cena defeated R-Truth. Cena's weight was given in kilograms (yay for the metric system). Excruciatingly slow match After the ref was knocked down, CM Punk ran out and attacked Cena. Cena recovered to kick out and hit the Attitude Adjustment for the win.

There was a group of Cena haters in the front row. After the match, Cena grabbed a mic. He said all he could hear were comments from this group. He said they were chanting "Cena Sucks" and "We want the Rock". After this one of them said "The Rock makes more money than you" which Cena repeated for the benefit of the crowd. Cena said he hoped someone was filming this and that he didn't care that the Rock makes more money than him, he was not an actor, he is a professional wrestler. Cena told the haters that they could take their Rock shirts, turn them sideways... and stick them back in their drawers as they were never going to see the Rock return to wrestling full time.

For the benefit of some members of the IWC, yes I did cheer the heels and yes I did boo the faces.
