Matt and William talk about tonight’s show and the FCW 15 Match between Damien Sandow and Seth Rollins as well as a major announcement from Steve Keirn.
Match Number One: Damien Sandow versus Seth Rollins in an FCW 15 Title Match
They lock up and Sandow works on the wrist but Rollins rolls through and he applies a side head lock and takes Sandow to the mat. Sandow gets a near fall with a rollup. Sandow with a head scissors but Rollins escapes. Rollins returns to the side head lock and takes Sandow to the mat. Sandow gets to his feet and he backs Rollins into the corner and he connects with a shoulder. Sandow with an Irish whip but Rollins floats over and then he hits a few leap frogs and then he chops Sandow and connects with a kick after a snap mare. Rollins with a near fall followed by a side head lock take down.
Sandow with a punch followed by a slam but Sandow misses a knee drop. Seth sets for the super kick but Sandow rolls to the floor. The referee starts his count. Rollins tries for a baseball slide but Sandow pulls up the ring skirt to stop Rollins and trap him. Rollins is able to punch Sandow and get free. Rollins goes to the other side of the ring as Sandow continues to look for him. Rollins comes up behind Sandow and chops him. Rollins slams Sandow’s head into the apron before they return to the ring.
Rollins with kicks to Sandow followed by an Irish whip. Sandow gets his knees up and then he Irish whips Rollins a few times into the turnbuckle sternum first. Sandow sends Rollins into the ring post and then he puts Rollins in a single leg crab. Sandow refuses to release the hold and the referee disqualifies Sandow.
Rollins 1 Fall; Sandow 0 Falls
We are about four minutes into the match and Sandow waits for Rollins to get back to his feet. Sandow punches Rollins and he suplexes Rollins and then he hits a leaping flatline for a three count.
Sandow 1 Fall; Rollins 1 Fall
We go to commercial with about five minutes gone in the match.
We are back and we have less than eight minutes to go. Sandow with a body scissors on Rollins and Seth tries to escape. Sandow with a back breaker as he continues to work on Rollins’ back. Sandow gets a near fall. Sandow with a forearm to the back and Rollins blocks a few suplexes and Rollins with an inside cradle for a near fall. Rollins with a back slide for a near fall. Seth with a running forearm followed by a kick. Rollins with a suplex but he holds his back before getting a near fall.
They go to the apron and Sandow with a shoulder to the midsection and then Sandow hits a belly-to-back suplex onto the apron and Rollins is having trouble moving. Sandow covers Rollins and he gets a three count.
Sandow 2 Falls; Rollins 1 Fall
We have almost five and a half minutes left and Rollins needs one fall to retain the title.
Rollins gets back to his feet and he hits Rollins from behind. Sandow with a side Russian leg sweep followed by a knee drop and he gets a near fall. Rollins frustrates Sandow by continuing to kick out of Sandow’s covers. Sandow with knees to the back and then he puts Rollins in a rear chin lock with his knee in Rollins’ back. Rollins punches Sandow but Sandow with a head butt. Rollins escapes a belly-to-back suplex attempt. Rollins comes off the ropes and Sandow applies the rolling Maple Leaf on Rollins but Seth is able to get to the rope before he has to tap out.
We have less than three and a half minutes to go and Rollins punches Sandow in the corner but the punches are not as effective due to his back. Sandow goes to the apron and Sandow with a shoulder. Rollins with a punch to the midsection as Sandow comes off the turnbuckles. Rollins with a clothesline that sends Sandow over the top rope to the floor. Rollins with a somersault pescado and both men are down on the floor.
We have two minutes remaining in the match and Rollins sets for the springboard clothesline and he hits it but Sandow kicks out at two. Seth goes back to the apron for a springboard clothesline but as Rollins hits the mat, Sandow counters with another rolling Maple Leaf. Rollins struggles to get the ropes but Sandow keeps Rollins in the middle of the ring.
Rollins is able to escape and counters with a rollup for the three count.
Rollins 2 Falls, Sandow 2 Falls
We have around thirty seconds to go in the match and Sandow is in shock. Rollins with an enzuigiri and Rollins with a super kick for a three count.
Rollins 3 Falls, Sandow 2 Falls
We have less than ten seconds left and time runs out.
Winner: Seth Rollins
Raquel Diaz is with the FCW Tag Team Champions Big E Langston and Calvin Raines. She asks them to talk about how it feels to be the Tag Champions. Calvin says that they are the equivalent of Barry Bonds and Mark McGwire playing for the same team. The are the most vicious and most ruthless tag team champions FCW will ever see.
Langston has a story for Raquel. There once was a man who was the strongest man in Florida and for a year and a half, he never got a title shot. In one night, that man went from being dismissed and disregarded to teaming with Calvin Raines and becoming the FCW Tag Team Champions.
Calvin says that they will be the champions for as long as they want to be and that is something that everyone can believe.
We go to commercial.
We are back and we are in Maxine’s office. She says that tonight is the night and she is sick of things not going as planned. Lucky will defend the title against Bo Rotundo one more time. Lucky wants to know why Maxine is booking this match and Maxine yells at Lucky and she tells him to do his job.
Steve Keirn and Norman Smiley enter Maxine’s office and Maxine tells Keirn that she does not have time for him. Steve tells Maxine that she will make time. He says that the situation with Bo Rotundo is out of his jurisdiction but running the show is still part of his jurisdiction. Keirn relieves Maxine of her duties as General Manager effective immediately. Norman Smiley is the new General Manager.
Norman wants Maxine out of his chair and Maxine storms out. Maxine tells Steve that he won’t have a show because she is going to take Aksana and Lucky and leave.
Smiley tells Maxine that she has a match tonight against Ms. Florida. Maxine tells Norman that he doesn’t know who he is messing with. She tells Norman to watch his ass before storming out of the office.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Two: Ricardo Rodriguez with Brodus Clay versus Leakee
Ricardo shows his muscles and does some push ups before locking up and Ricardo wants a Greco Roman knuckle lock but Leakee with the advantage and then he stomps on Ricardo’s hands. Leakee sends Ricardo into the turnbuckles and he punches Ricardo. Leakee with an Irish whip but he misses a charge into the corner and Brodus trips Leakee. Leakee goes to the floor and Brodus with a t-bone suplex on the floor.
Ricardo returns Leakee to the ring and he gets a near fall. Ricardo sends Leakee into the corner and hits a splash followed by a snap mare. Ricardo hits a moonsault and gets a near fall. Ricardo punches Leakee and applies a guillotine choke while locking up the legs. Ricardo with knees to Leakee and he gets a near fall. Ricardo misses a corkscrew splash from the turnbuckles.
Leakee with forearms to Ricardo followed by an Irish whip and splash into the corner. Ricardo with a punch to Leakee but Leakee counters a head scissors attempt by Ricardo into a side slam and a near fall.
Clay trips Leakee and Ricardo with a chin breaker for a near fall. Clay has something to say to Leakee and Ricardo tries for a splash onto the back but he accidentally hits Clay when Leakee moves. Leakee with a power slam and then he sets for the flying forearm and he hits it for the three count.
Winner: Leakee
Raquel Diaz is with Leo Kruger in the interview area. Leo says that he is surprised that he has received this time. Leo asks Raquel to use a word to describe his FCW tenure. Leo says the proper word is overlooked. He reminds everyone that he wrestled with a broken neck and then he sat on the sidelines for four months without getting anything. Leo says that he has not received a title match. Leo says that he looks like a movie star and fights like a gladiator. Leo reminds everyone that he has beaten a former FCW Champion. Leo says that things change next week because he will compete for the FCW Title and he will be the new FCW Champion. He says that he is a walking, talking, living breathing main event.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Three: Maxine with Aksana versus Ms. Florida
Before the match, Maxine gets on the mic and she says that everyone knows that it is Naomi and Maxine says that she is not wrestling Naomi. Maxine calls for Aksana to wrestle for her. Aksana takes the mic and she tell Maxine that Maxine not her boss so she wish Maxine good luck.
Ms. Florida with a rollup while Maxine yells at Aksana and she gets the three count.
Winner: Ms Florida
After the match, Ms. Florida takes off the mask and it was Naomi under the mask.
We go to commercial.
Match Number Four: Lucky Cannon with Damien Sandow versus Bo Rotundo for the FCW Title
Bo pushes Lucky after the bell rings and then he slaps Lucky in the face before getting a few near falls with rollups. Lucky rolls to the floor to regroup and then Damien Sandow tries to interfere but the referee stops Sandow and then he sends Sandow to the back. Lucky and Sandow argue with the referee but it is not going to help Lucky’s cause.
Bo attacks Lucky from behind while Lucky talks to Sandow. Bo sends Lucky into the ring steps and apron. They return to the ring and Lucky backs towards the corner and then he sends Bo into the turnbuckles and then he connects with a European uppercut and the impact sends Bo into the ropes and Bo is having trouble breathing. Lucky with a boot to the head and he gets a near fall.
Lucky with leg drops to Bo and he gets a near fall. Lucky with a knee to the back followed by a rear chin lock and he slams Bo’s head into the mat. Lucky has Bo look at his banner but Bo with a punch. Lucky kicks Bo in the corner and then he chokes Bo with his boot. Lucky with a boot to the back of the head and then he chokes Bo.
Bo punches Lucky but Lucky with a boot to Bo’s head and then he applies a rear chin lock while putting his knee in Bo’s back. Lucky with a side head lock but Bo with forearms. Bo escapes the hold but Lucky with a sleeper. Bo backs Lucky into the corner and connects with a series of elbows to the head.
The referee pulls Bo out of the corner. Bo with a clothesline followed by a bulldog. Bo sets for the spear as Lucky tries to get up. Bo charges at Lucky but Lucky moves and Bo hits the ropes very awkwardly. Lucky goes outside the ring and gets the FCW Title belt and brings it into the ring.
Lucky tries to hit Bo with the belt but Bo avoids Lucky and hits the spear for the three count.
Winner: Bo Rotundo
After the match, the wrestlers from the locker room come out to celebrate Bo’s title win. The wrestlers carry Bo around the ring on their shoulders.
