ERIC BISCHOFF CLAIMS TNA HAS GROWN UNDER HIS WATCH, HERE ARE THE NUMBERS

Eric Bischoff tweeted a response to the 10%ers, as he referred to them/us, today.  It was an audio file of his appearance on the Monday Night Mayhem show from last night.  In addition to making the same tired references to living in their parents' basement and trying to find part time work at K Mart, he stated that 10%ers and sites like this one don't give him/TNA credit for the growth that the company has had over the last five to seven years.  He stated that TNA has been around longer than that but didn't really become a true company until getting on Spike TV (and I agree with him on that).  He also added that he has no idea if the PPV buyrates are up or down because he doesn't get those numbers.

In the spirit of fairness (and not knowing how the chart below would turn out), I decided to put in a little time and check my rating files from the past to see how TNA has done since 2009 until today.  That would be a fair barometer of how the company has progressed from the time before Bischoff and Hulk Hogan came in last year and today.  I decided to pick two months at random, six months apart, as a general gauge since it would be too time consuming to look up years worth of numbers.  We will go with May and November since they are important months in the TV business.  You can read the numbers and decide for yourself whether Bischoff's claims of growth are valid.  

Note: I don't have the viewership numbers for May of 2009, only the ratings.
