MORE STARS PAY TRIBUTE TO RANDY SAVAGE

ESPN2.com featured a piece with quotes from former minor league baseball teammate of Randy Savage remembering him following his death yesterday, which you can read at this link. Thanks to Tom Kettwig.

Lance Storm posted a blog on his official website, noting that Savage is probably more responsible than anyone for making him a big wrestling fan when he was younger. Storm also writes about the one time he met Savage in Smoky Mountain Wrestling. You can read the entire piece at this link.

Christopher Daniels told a story about asking permission from Savage to use his signature move on Twitter, writing, "RIP Randy Savage, an inspiration who set the standard! As a fan, watching Randy in Wrestlemania 3,4 and 5 was incredible! True Story: at Turning Point 2004 (AMW-XXX cage match), I asked Randy’s permission to drop the elbow of the top of the cage! Randy’s reply? “God bless you, brother, I don’t even do the elbow anymore.” And, he gave me a thumbs up after the match as well!"

ROH star Claudio Castagnoli wrote, ""When I was 12 I turned my jacket into a Macho Man Jacket, adding tassels on the sleeves and ran through my house yelling “oh yeah” The tower of power, too sweet to be sour, funky like a monkey uuuuh yeah! RIP Macho"
