Was WWE ever toying with the idea of Cena beating RVD at One Night Stand 2006? And what do you think would've happened if he did beat RVD?
No, the plan was always to have Edge cost Cena
the match, and for Rob Van Dam to win the title. If WWE had Cena win the
match, I imagine a LOT of garbage (and maybe even a few fans) would have ended
up in the ring.
Was watching what happened backstage after the screwjob in Montreal, and there was a woman going off at Hunter, saying 'You'll get yours, etc.' Who was that woman?
That was Bret's wife at the time, Julie.
What's going on with Chris Jericho? I know he got "injured" by Randy Orton kicking him in the head, but is he still with the WWE? Is he taking time off? When is he returning, if at all?
Jericho is taking time off and pursuing other
projects, including his band Fozzy, his new autobiography, and several TV
opportunities. When he will return is unknown, but he has made it clear
that when he does decide to return to the ring, it will be with WWE.
Just saw the Elimination Chamber DVD, and noticed the match involving Benoit was included. Is this an early sign that the WWE will loosen it's stance on Benoit?
Depends on what you mean by "loosen" I
guess. When WWE releases complete shows, they don't edit out Benoit
matches and it looks like the same will hold true for compilations of gimmick
bouts that might include him. That said, don't look for Benoit to be
advertised on the packaging, and I would not anticipate a sudden flood of Benoit
matches on WWE releases.
Do you see TNA exploiting Jeff Hardy going to prison if he does get sentenced?
Given Vince Russo's love of mixing shoot and work, I would not be stunned to hear it referenced in a promo in some way.
