MAJOR FINDING ON THE CONCUSSION FRONT

USA Today is reporting that the United States Army has discovered a blood test that can be utilized to determine whether someone has suffered a concussion. The test would pick up proteins in the blood stream that have leaked from brain injuries.

The testing proved correct in 34 test patients, according to the report.

Army Col. Dallas Hack commented that the finding could change medicine for head injuries entirely.

Obviously, in a business such a pro wrestling, where concussions have become more and more of a concern that is treated seriously compared to the past, this could be a huge breakthrough, although nothing has been sent for FDA approval yet.
